Things to do in Marshall
Marshall Pizza Hut is really in need of renovation, the parking lot is dirty, the outside of the building is beginning to rot, the interior is outdated and worn and darkly lit. I showed up early for my online ordered pizza only to be told that I must of ordered in Battle Creek instead of Marshall, until someone else checked the orders. The main gentleman at the counter was not very professional, borderline rude and curt, yelling my name out loud when I was the only one in the place and my order wasn't even finished yet. I'm afraid the convenience of online ordering doesn't over rule the poorness of the restaurant.
I have had Little Caesars from a handful of other places and this is the worse one. After moving to the area I ordered a pizza and bread late one night because mostly everything was closed. The other times I ordered it from different stores it was fine, but this pizza was not. The appearance was great, but the quality of it was not. It was just bad. I am not sure how else to describe it. I stood at the counter waiting longer than I should have to be helped. I understand being busy, but this was late at night and only one customer was ahead of me. That customer had been helped and was already waiting for there order. I thought it might have been a one time thing so I recently tried them again. This time I ordered just bread and the quality was awful. I don't expect too much from an order of $3 bread, but some type of decent quality would be great. The service was bad again. I had 3 orders of bread with sauce and had to ask for my own bag so put them in. This store does not seem big on customer experience. I will not go back.

Ordered a pizza from there while visiting Marshall. The staff was friendly and the pizza was great and not overpriced... I think it was $13 for a large pizza with a few toppings.

Service was fast and friendly. The price of the small pizza was more than reasonable. The pizza was good. I would order another one from here.
Five Star Pizza is not a pretentious or particularly charming place. It is utilitarian rather than cozy, but the pizzas are good, fresh and a good size! Different toppings and a variety of sizes, from individual to small to large it is all there. My two favorites are the Chick Florentine and the BLT pizza. they come to your table right from the oven and are as good as they look! Help yourself to a plate, napkin and cutlery, pour your own drink and find a place to enjoy your pizza. Did I mention the cheesecake? It's good, too! Prices are reasonable.

Having been fans of the Brewery for a while, we recently learned about their bakery. They feature several types of bread, some with "spent grain" from the brewery, and others with regular grains. They have "daily specials" for breads. Certain days, multigrained bread will be available, while others will include: nuts and berries, rye, French batard, etc. The day we visited, we happened to buy: French batard (white bread), multigrained, and sourdough, to take home with us. They also offer sandwiches, cookies, etc. You can also buy cans of Dark Horse beer. By the way, the bread is high quality and tasty, so much so, that we plan on driving 50-miles every other month or so to buy some . . . of course we'll stock up on beer and have a sandwich, too.
