We ate here at about 5:45pm on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019. My wife and my sister had the Eggplant Parmesan appetizer, $7.25, as opposed to the dinner which includes pasta and was the reason for coming here. My sister and my wife both love Eggplant Parmesan and they loved Tasty Pizzaâs version. EP is something I can take or leave. I had several bites of the EP and can say it was good. My brother-in-law had the Veal Cutlet Dinner, which he said was good. I was the designated pizza eater as I do reviews on TA and no one else felt like eating pizza. Tasty Pizzaâs format is, as they sum it up: âAt Tasty Pizza, the secretâs not in the sauce or even the crust â itâs the family. My opinion is that they are right on both counts. The pizza is good, but not necessarily great. Their only specialty pizzas are Spaghetti & Meatball, Gourmet Artichoke, and Pesto, which are not standard pizzas. This is unfortunate because, as is the norm, create-your-ownâs are more expensive. Since I did not try a specialty pizza, and created my own, it is hard to say how good THEIR pizza is. My pizza (see pic) was good, but not great. I very much prefer thin crust pizzas and this crust looked like it averaged about 1/4". I ordered an Extra Large 14â pizza with extra cheese, sausage, onions and red peppers $25. The sausage was good, but not remarkable. The red peppers were much larger than I had expected, but were good. The pizza was well-cooked. It was well-browned on the bottom, but there was no black. All had small Garden Salads $3.75 which were decent. As regards their informal and friendly atmosphere, that is exactly what we observed. People were both standing up and sitting down at various tables having some very informal and friendly conversations, almost like hanging out at some pool tables at a tavern.

This is an old school Italian style restaurant with all the usual dishes. Some items are made from scratch and some are premade frozen. You need to ask if this is important to you to avoid disappointment. The server was very nice. They bring a large plate of Italian bread and butter to the table and it is hard not to keep eating it. On Friday and Saturday, they offer a house made tripe soup which is delicious. The Italian sausage is very flavorful. The salads are large and have more than just lettuce in them. Dinners come with salad and choice of pasta and portions are generous. Overall it was a good spot for families with children and casual dining.

We are the original Mario Fazio's love is all around you, fresh seasonal food a great value. Family owned and operated for 46 years.
My dad and I go to Cleveland every few months and wusually have dinner with his college friend who lives in Mentor while we're there. We're all Italian so we like to find a different Italian restaurant to try and Mario Fazio's was convenient for everyone. It did not disappoint one bit. Even though it was our first time, Lisa (the owner's daughter I believe) made us feel like regulars. We an appetizer, salads, and dinners and it was a ton of food! The Stuffed Hot Peppers weren't exactly stuffed peppers. They were two full links of delicious and perfectly cooked Italian sausage covered in hot peppers, sauce, and cheese. The two older guys had the Eggplant Terrine which was very good and not mushy at all. I had the Doreen's Pasta, which was easily the best dish I've ever had in an Italian restuarant. Our server, Jamie, was very friendly and attentive but also gave us our space. If you ever find yourself around Cleveland and want good Italian, go to Mario Fazio's.

While traveling in Cleveland, we ordered a Sicilian pizza and subs a few times. We also had a Sicilian pizza for the Super Bowl in February. All were fantastic with delicious sauce. It is strictly pick-up or delivery. Employees are extremely friendly. I'll be there again upon my return to the east side of Cleveland.

It was a doctorâs visit for me before taking a dine path. Looked at a place on Mayfield that looked like a restaurant, on the windows it said SUBS and SOUP, maybe not in that order, but it looked like a green house of some sort. In the parking lot, to prevent getting out of the car, I asked a guy if this place was a restaurant, he said it was a grocery store, but suggested a place down the street a bit further. It was Aboâs. Aboâs Grill. The many times Iâve passed this place just recently, never noticed it, but the guy said it was an Italian place, so there I was. I had the shrimp linguini, because I asked for angel hair spaghetti, my favorite pasta with heavy garlic and butter. I donât remember the shrimp, but I could taste the garlic. I donât know why, but I love garlic and pasta. The food was good, prepared by the son of the owner if I got my information straight from a girl from Pittsburgh. She was a Cavâs fan, because Pittsburgh doesnât have a basketball team. Her name was Kate. Her service and attitude were flawless, but the true gem here is the owner. Sam. Sam and I must have talked a good 20 minutes or so. And it was good conversation. I was so impressed with the place, I came back the next day. This time Kelly was the service. Different in style than Kate but still attentive. The place is spectacular. A nice size with a patio in the back, even a spot that a couple could eat out front if they had a mind too. It was a beautiful little spot and a spots bar/restaurant. Iâm happy out of all the restaurants on Mayfield, the guy in the grocery store parking lot directed me to it. I feel like I met friends, especially the owner, Sam. Worth it.

The competition for business, to obtain and keep customers, is fierce Why go to a place or order from an establishment that has a nasty attitude, when you have thousands of dozens of different ways to put a decent meal together. Since my wife gets a lot of food for different places where she works, she is able to sample and see for herself, what she may or may not like. And there are more than enough places in the area that deliver. Here comes Jetâs Pizza. Iâm going to be honest, I never even heard of Jetâs Pizza. But they have a large variety of pizzas to choose from. They have wings, and salads, bread sticks too.. We happened to have salads. The Greek salad and the Antipasto salad. Nice portion and the salads were fresh. Both my wife and I, had some of both. I would have been happy with either one, but I didnât mind sharing.

Getting desperate for decent Pizza after having had some of the best on the east coast, we remembered this restaurant that originally was a converted Arabica coffee house. We knew the family name that owned it since it was one of the premiere restaurateurs in the Cleveland area so we decided to give it a shot. Were we ever pleased that we made that choice. The pizza was as good if not better that our East coast experiences and the Ravioli was wonderful. If you have room after your meal and even if you have to take it out, order the Nutella calzone or the Napoleon....you won't be sorry.

This CPK restaurant is right next to an open shopping and entertainment area that is used for musical (and other?) entertainment during the summer months (at least). Our server, Ryan, was very attentive to our table; he checked in with us often. He got our daughter drink refills without us having to ask. Our meals were fresh-tasting and nicely flavored. All in all, a very satisfying meal that reminded us of our CPK meals at home.
