I know the pizza used to be sub-par and the service iffy, but I feel they have gotten it together. A lot of people say it is terrible, but they are comparing it to Brunos. That is like comparing Burger King's burgers to Red Robin. If you want fast and hot with delivery at a good price, this is your place. They have a rather vast menu now, the food is pretty good and fresh, they are on time or faster, and you can do the whole order on-line.

I have been in there many times and ordered food. The lobby of the place is terrible to stand in if they have more that one other person waiting. More than once I have had someone say something rude to me. The bread sticks are my favorite. The pizza is just okay. The service is normally really good. One note to the management however, I have been into that store so many times in the summer and it is just BAKING hot in there. In the front, I cannot even imagine what the employees go through in there. They definitely do not make enough money to be subjected to that. When I asked several different employees what the deal was, they said the district manager basically told them they were imagining the heat and to just tough it out. I tried to get a hold of a manager for comment on this and was unable to get a response. What a crappy way to treat your employees. I know times are tough but get those people some air in the summer.

We have tried the majority of pizza places in Longview and this definitely offers some of the best pizza! For take and bake it's a little more expensive than other places, but they are generous with the toppings and the crust is excellent.

The last time I was here, I was a bit disappointed, but not this time. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a Combo. Both had generous toppings and my glass of wine was also not skimpy. The only thing that was a bit on the tacky side is that the plates they gave us for our pizza were paper! Seriously. I was with a group of old high school friends and we stayed talking until well after the restaurant closed and the staff could not have been more gracious. They were even concerned that their breaking down of one of the stations might impede our conversation.

Papa Pete's Pizza #2

After nearly a year, I decided to give them another try. We ordered a neater. The salami was perfect, and the sausage was too. A little much pepperoni and the beef wasn't that noticeable, because the other meat spices took over. The pizza was delicious.Right amount of good sauce. The crust was the best part. It was a nice cracker crust on the bottom, and soft and chewy on the top. It seemed to eat and taste like a high quality floor dough. Not too much cheese... just right.... nice and stringy. Cooked perfectly. The only reason that I didn't give it five stars is that it was just a bit oily, buy it didn't harm the overall quality or taste. I'll go again.

Roland Wines is as they put it a NYF ("not yet famous") wood fired pizza and interesting libations purveyor masquerading as a garage with rollup doors in downtown Longview. The primarily red wines are very , very good and deserve a taste even if you are not staying for the pizza which smells delicious. Marc Roland and his family have a winner here, and if it were not so far from southern Oregon we would have become instant members. It will not be long before they will lose the moniker as their offerings seem to be the class of wineries in the neighborhood.

Bruno's Pizza

Place was very busy and we gadnt visited for a long time...when I went up to the counter for another beer I watched then take a pre-made cheese pizza and microwave the meat toppings before it was put in the oven. Are you kidding me? I casually mentioned my observation and was told when they get busy they just use the premade cheese pizzas to speed up the process and shorten the waiting time. Crust was paper thin but flavor was good...however, right there and then decided I wont be back! Longview has lots of other pizza options....sad
