We come here often. On this visit we were told the diet soda machine broke down (my wife is DIABETIC,) So,the meal was not that enjoyable and she settled for water. We were also served with 1 ply cocktail napkins.A suggestion to management. Go buy some diet soda and get some 2 ply napkins so other customers do not have the same problems. Maybe take a "MANAGEMENT" course. The date of my visit 8/27/18

Picked up a pie and some side slices over the weekend. The pie was half peppers and onions and the side slices included mushrooms and pepperoni. We're still chewing on the pizza hours later. The dough and cheese were super rubbery and unwelcomed. Even our 3-year old pizza monster daughter didn't finish her slice. The pizza chef is on the crusty side too. Wouldn't mind seeing a plastic glove or two worn or a hand wash between customers. Really tough to get a good slice in north east queens in general. Best bets are Amores and Grimaldis. Allora is not bad, too. Good luck.
This place makes one of the best sicilian pizzas I've ever had. The pies are large and fairly priced. The problem is that the owner smokes and stinks up the restaurant. When told it is a violation to smoke in a restaurant I was told if I didn't like it to not come back. Buy their pie and take it home!

My husband and I went for dinner before catching a movie. We ordered a pie (no slices) half mushroom and half broccoli and pepperoni. Came out hot and crispy. The sauce was good and the cheese was fresh and melty. The pie crust was light not greasy or heavy.

There's nothing special about this place....just an average "red-sauce" Italian restaurant. The food is good but not memorable, the decor is typical "Mediterranean"....th service was very attentive...the manager/owner was extremely ;personable...the prices were fair and reasonable, the wine list extensive.

Wonderful back end of a Pizza spot on Plandome Road yields a first rate kitchen & extensive menu. Sincere and helpful waitress took excellent care of us as we dined on old favorites from soup to perfect pasta dishes and a good deal more.A word of note, this place gets busy so call & make reservations. Great staff & excellent food will have us coming back for more. Exceptionally good value as well.

Bocconcini is one of the best kept secrets in Queens. It is also one of the best Pizzeria's in The boro. Bocconcini is a gem that "foodies in the know" have learned to love!! Large individual slices, pies, calzones, are all offered and are terrific. It is a small welcoming little pizzeria located on Northern Boulevard in Little Neck. The owner Dav is charming and welcoming along with a small professional staff who go out of their way to make sure each and every customer is totally satisified.. Pizza is the main offering at Bocconcini along with an array of diverse italian food and dishes each and every day. Their Lasagna is extraordinarily delicious along with their daily specials of chicken, veal, and pasta. Bocconcini's italian dishes, salads, burgers are delicious and worthy of many of the more expensive italian restaurants in Queens. Bocconcini will shortly be expanding and offer a full menu of their delicious dishes in a bigger space..Although they don't aggressively promote their business; Bocconcini'sreputation, food and service speaks for itself. Highly recommended.

Whenever Great Neck kids make dinner or lunch plans, Gino's is always one of the options and often is the final pick. Amazing for both casual meals with friends and family dinners, Gino's has become a staple restaurant in the town. Take out is quick and the sit-down service is great as well. The atmosphere is welcoming and lively thanks to the friendly staff. And the food, oh the food! They have pretty much any Italian meal from baked ziti pizza to calamari. Open late and almost everyday during the year (even snow days), Gino's has also proved it self to be very dependable. Long live Gino's Pizza!

I always get the same thing here - the chicken Marsala pizza. I am a fan of the dish and this is the best I have tasted. I imagine the other stuff is pretty good too, but I may never find out.

My son had a fettucine and chicken dish. The chicken was good, the sauce was very, very canned tasting. He didn't like it at all.I, on the other hand, had a grilled calamari salad which was quite decent.Would I eat here again, maybe, certainly I'd not chase it down but it wasn't bad.
