Reviews on Pizza food in Limenaria, Northeast Aegean Islands, Greece. Limenaria (Greek: Λιμενάρια) is a village on the island of Thasos in northern Greece. The village numbers 2480 residents (2011 census) and is the second largest settlement on the island of Thasos. The settlement is a popular tourist destination since the 1960s, with a 1.2 km long strand of beach (Stelakis Beach) and a number of smaller coves and pebbly beaches just to the west of the settlement next to the village of Trypiti (Τρυπητή), being the main tourist magnet for the locality. The village is also popular for tourists around the island for a visible view of the Holy Site of Mount Athos.

We can't go to Limenaria without calling at the Amici, we have eaten there lots of times. Their pizzas are delicious with lots of differentoppings to choose from.They offer quite a few different salads, tasty risottos , and home made chips., with other choices on the menu too. Amici is situated overlooking the sea with great views. Andreas and Stella are lovely hosts , their staff are all pleasant, polite and helpful .We find the food good value for money. We will return soon.

We had a Chef Salad, aubergine salad and a New York Pizza. The Chef Salad was the usual ham/egg/cheese with mayonnaise dressing, but it was fairly tasteless and certainly not as good as other salads we have had in most restaurants. The aubergine salad was better, but I suspect came out of a carton. We took advice from the waiter about the size of pizza to order for 2 of us and he suggested we needed the medium size. However when it arrived it was enormous and unless you have a huge appetite I would definitely recommend sticking to the small size pizza. The pizza itself had a lot of topping but again there was not much flavour.On the positive side the house rose wine was very pleasant particularly with food and the service was fast and efficient.It was quite expensive at 32 euros.Ok, tho I suspect there are better pizzas served in other restaurants.

We drove around the island and stopped at this great little beach called Pefkari It has easy access with plenty of parking and some tree shade. it is around a 40 minute drive from Golden Beach, but well worth a visit. It needs to be marketed more in order to be recognised.Pefkari is a pebble beach and with crystal clear water; it is excellent for swimming.We used the restaurant's sun loungers which were new this season and beach umbrella. There was no pressure here to keep buying drinks, although there is a clear sign stating that there is a small cover charge for using the loungers. We had several ice-cold beers and also a great, really well topped pizza at E9; plenty for two. You can have food served on the beach or in the rustic restaurant. The restaurant/bar is run by Elizabeth who is attentive and friendly. Great service also free Wi-Fi. Really worth stopping if you are out on a drive; we enjoyed it so much we returned for a second visit and had the pizza for lunch a second time!By the way, the toilet facilities were spotlessly clean.
