Azzurra (or Pizzeria Azzurra) was much better than anticipated. I guess because the setting was so summer-touristy perfect (elevated outdoor patio overlooking the trees and the pedestrian walkway overlooking the ocean) I thought maybe the food couldn't match the ambiance. Also nice elevated seating indoors overlooking the open kitchen. Very attractive, upscale setting, equaled or exceeded by the food.If you are thinking U.S. pizzeria you are waaaaay off from the extensive offerings here. The menu (which, interestingly, listed in great detail all the food allergy info for all their dishes) had more than 20 really interesting pizzas. In addition, there was were many fish, shellfish and pasta offerings.I had a fantastic prosciutto and cheese white pizza with a thin, thin light crust. Mary ha fresh fish fillets sauteed with zucchini and sweet peppers. She said it was the best fish dish in the previous week (of eating fish practically every night).Extensive and very reasonably priced beers and also wines by the glass. Delightful (and very patient explaining the non-English menu to us) waitress who really gave us great service.Just a great meal and lovely setting for a grand total of 45E. Can't be beat. (BTW, if you want a table with a view as nice as ours, I strongly suggest you ask your lodging host to phone in a reservation.)

We had a large group. They served us quickly and the food came out really fast. The waiters are very very nice and they took time to understand our order. For sure we will go back again !

Locale sobrio con tavoli all'esterno e hotel annesso.Apparentemente niente di che...la sostanza è invece una pizza super ed una cucina semplice (senza nulla di speciale)che però coglie in pieno il senso di una cena da pizzeria o trattoria.Consiglio davvero la pizza o gli antipasti di mare..rapporto qualità /prezzo..eccellente..

Siamo stati da Margò perché consigliati da amici che a loro volta si sono trovati egregiamente. Che dire. Nei piatti si sente la passione per la cucina da parte dello chef. Abbiamo preso i maltagliati e i paccheri. Entrambi erano eccezionali. Ci è stato riferito che la gestione è nuova a partire da quest anno difatti il personale deve ancora migliorare perché inesperto. Al contrario il giovane titolare è una persona alla mano e molto simpatica e nello stesso tempo professionale, disponibile e molto preparata. I prezzi sono buoni. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

Sono stato a pranzo , con la mia famiglia e abbiamo gustato piatti semplici e molto gustosi. Personale disponibile e servizio molto veloce. Location consigliata perché è nei pressi della spiaggia e dopo tanto caldo ci si può rinfrescare in mezzo al verde. Ci ritornerò anche domani. Posto consigliato qualità e prezzo.

My partner and I quickly came to realise that staying in Lido Marini before the main Summer season starts, local choices for quality food are limited. We came across this restaurant and pizzeria on our first night and was so pleased with the food and the great service that we returned another two times during our week stay. Serving a selection of both fish and meat dishes, and a wide range of pizzas it's not difficult to find something tasty to eat (although I do recommend the fish). The mixed fried fish was so tasty and the mixed fish seafood risotto was excellent. Be warned though, portions are large, especially the primi courses, so order wisely! Pizzas were also very tasty with a perfect crust. Service was also excellent, a really great experience.

I was surprised to see the recent reviews, having dined twice at this restaurant in early June. On both of our visits, we were seated straight away and the service and food were good - not great, but good. Everything was reasonably priced, too. I can only think that we were either lucky or, more likely, the restaurant was better able to cope with the volume of customers during the low season.

Thank you from 6 very hot cyclists - one who had just come off his bike. We had a lovely welcome and a superb lunch. The view was wonderful and the table perfect in the mid afternoon breeze. We left very happy:-). And we would love to find you again in the near future.

Lovely homemade pasta dish with fresh shellfish, it was the only choice, one dish for all as it was not yet high season.Homemade olives and his own wine.We don't speak Italian, and he didn't speak much English, but we were served and understood very well, and the food was delicious.
