On entering the reataurant by it's small stair entrance it looks a bit aged and decorated with lots of stuff you'd expect at a grand-aunt or uncle's place and you'll realize this restaurant has been there for quite some time, which adds to its flair. The staff is very competent and friendly, even when the place is bustling. The owner is a friendly person, keeping contact with his regular customers and knows almost everyone around. The menu encompasses a vast amount of dishes (a small outline is listed outside the restaurant), from Antipasti, through pages of pizzas to Sardinian cheese selections.Since it was our âPizza Fridayâ we went for the âD'Amoreâ and âSan Danieleâ. A medium "Margharitas" is 5â¬, the most expensive Pizza around 10â¬, the others somewhere in between.I had high expectations, but was positively surprised nonetheless: The dough was the perfect thickness to be a bit crunchy and still stable enough, the spicing ideal and the ingredients fresh. What I really appreciated was the amount of cheese, which was ample and delicious. The fresh basil and tomatoes on the âSan Danieleâ were a perfect counterbalance for the intense anchovies. We had a Monica de Sardegna red wine along with the food, which prooved to be a excellent choice, as well a the house's Grappa as digestif.The knives were sharp and well suited for the pizza cutting, which is rare at pizza places in my experience, so I appreciate this much.Payment is possible in cash or electronically by Maestro, Visa and American Express - Master card I'm not sure, but probably too.To sum it up: The restaurant is a perfect place to have pizza alone, as couples or in larger groups, if you prefer a rather homely atmosphere instead of crisp tidiness. Unfortunately it does not seem to be barrier-free accessible. The restaurant also offers take-out.

Classical Italian cuisine in the middle of Germany. The locals go for pizza. The visitors go for the real thing. Superb service run by the Italian owner himself, ensure that the kitchen and the service are run properly. Very fresh ingredients ( eg: fish trucked from Genoa, just arrived ), and attention to execute the classical recipes, deliver very good classical Italian meals. The wine list is simple ( it could be improved ), but it has very good value wines. A place to come back.

Wir bestellten hier mittags 1x Pizza und 1x Spaghetti Carbonara ohne Schinken. Weil es sich hier um ein italienisches Restaurant handelt und nicht nur um einen Lieferservice, waren die Erwartungen schon etwas überdurchschnittlich. Die Pizza war auch ganz gut, aber die Spaghetti Carbonara leider die schlechtesten, die ich jemals gegessen habe.Die SoÃe war eine einzige dicke Pampe ohne Geschmack und Gewürz - und das bei einem Preis von 9,00 Euro :(Der Service entschuldigte sich allerdings für die schlechte Qualität und bot Rabatt für die nächste Bestellung.

This little place is aptly named the Bunker because it is mostly underground and probably served as an actual bomb defense shelter (bunker) in the past. Now it is a cozy little restaurant and ice cream parlor offering Italian fare and specializing in pizza. The centerpiece is the wood-fired oven used to cook pizza and other dishes to perfection. The service is attentive and the prices are reasonable, so I recommend you give this place a try if you happen to be in the area. On a side note, this restaurant was always a favorite with American service members and their families stationed in the area. Now that they are no longer present, I suspect you will have no problems making reservations any time you desire.

For the second time ordered by phone but the Pizzas were never delivered. After an hour we called again and was told they had forgotten the order. Was much better in the past but Service and Quality has gone down a lot since the father is no longer in the kitchen.

Clean place and the döner was great. Good service and the prices were quite reasonable. They have a pretty diverse menu, so would say that they get a fair amount of business. Would come here again.
