After wracking our heads as to where to go for dinner to celebrate our anniversary, we finally decided on Throbbing Strawberry, as we had not been there for over 4 years. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive, the food was excellent and we sat outside in the non-smoking area, which was very comfortable and well decorated. Overall, our experience was extremely pleasant.The only downfall is that the smokers get the best spot outside by the fountain, and every now and then we got a good waft of cigarette smoke coming through into our area.

This restaurant has been our go to for family dining at Monte for awhile.We always order the delicious piping hot mozzarella cheese, garlic and herbs focaccia for starters.I have tried the various dishes of lasagne, the marsala chicken breasts, the chicken schnitzel with crispy bacon, peppadews and cheese sauce, the grilled kingklip with lemon butter sauce and the peri lemon sauce prawns - all have been very good.Other great meals enjoyed by the family: vegetarian pizza, grilled kingklip romana, beer batter hake, half chicken and prawns as well as the rib & lamb chops.The food is always served piping hot, portions are generous and good value. The service is on point by the efficient waiters and managers.

Havenât eaten here in a long while - and what a lovely surprise at the change in menu and deliciousness of the food. You have to try the croissant with scrambled egg and mince - just the right amount of saucy and just the right amount of spicy. Great breakfast after a mornings ride on my bike.

We went to a show on Saturday and wanted a meal in Monte Casino after checking out TripAdvisor who rated at 4.5 stars. Menu choice was disappointing, limited selection to choose from especially the pasta / pizza options. One of our group ordered Calamari but they could offer rice as a starch, only fries or mash potatoes. I requested an alcohol free beer they had no stock. Ordered water instead and the waitron brought a 750ml bottle for a single person. Service was slow and we had to ask for the bill to get to our show in time. Would I recommend this to other diners, unlikely ! The only attraction for a quick fast food type meal is the location. The food was excellent, fresh, tasty and well served portions. Good value for money.The staff also courteous, they even brought cake and sang happy birthday when they found out a member at the table was celebrating her birthday.

This place is horrible. Went there for a business meeting and was shocked at the state of the place. It's cracking everywhere and looks like maintenance hadn't been done in centuries. The female toilets are a health hazard, thinking of calling the health inspector for that. There is fungi growing there. The place doesn't cater for people with specific dietary requirements and service is poor. There is even a scrap yard on the premises. A no no for me!

Papachinos management get my vote for restaurant of the month after they promptly and decisively address a potentially disastrous incident into a positive one. Well done to Angelo and Given for taking full responsibility and accountability for a lapse in quality by back room staff! Rare to find mgt funding process and supply chain issues on the spot! Well done very proactive.

I visited Celestino's for the first time and had a really pleasant quiz evening and dinner with friends. Overall the venue is excellent for families and kids have their own Pizza making station. The service was good and quality of food was excellent. I would recommend this venue for a good family evening out.
