My partner, our 3 year old and I were walking around Beg-Meil, looking for somewhere to eat, when we found Chez Alain. We were very impressed with our first impression. A little Italy in France. The staff spoke very good English and paid great attention to our daughter. They brought her a cushion to sit on as she is so little. The owner brought her a little lobster bib so she didn't mess up her dress, this was so sweet. We didn't order a starter but the owner brought us some fish soup he made for us to try. So delicious. The food and service was amazing start to finish. The staff were attentive and friendly with all customers. I took a chance on the pudding menu and ordered a banana pizza. I was so impressed. It was all so nice. I highly recommend eating here. We hope to come back next year and visit again.

We spent our holidays in this region and when we arrived late in the evening, we spotted this pizzeria by chance. Good luck for us, since the pizza was phantastic: crispy dough, excellent fresh topping, baked in the wood oven. And while waiting, we have been offered a glass of wine and some chat with Gino and Bruno. We returned twice during the week :-)Attention: it is seducing to eat your pizza immediately on-site and certainly nobody will mind, but be aware that this is a take-away only, so no "normal" tables and chairs available.

Excellent. The restaurant was empty when we arrived at 7pm but soon filled up. The menu had something for everyone in our family of 2 adults and 5 children, the pizzas were delicious and the pasta superb. Service a little slow (but just the two proprietors serving a busy evening so very impressive). The price for 6 mains, 6 desserts, 1 child's menu, drinks and an aperitif was 160 euro which included a tip.
We were staying at the hotel itself and decided to try the restaurant for dinner, and were pleased that we did. The food was very good and in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, with good efficient service. We were able to have our (well-behaved) dog with us during the meal. My partner had escalope de dinde which was very tasty and my meal (fish) was very enjoyable. It was also very reasonably priced. The hotel also does breakfasts and the 'serveur' for this was very efficient, helpful and friendly. The generous breakfast consisted of croissants, baguette, jams etc and in addition one can request ham and cheeses, yoghurt, eggs etc, with juices and coffee.

Wanted a pizza to eat at hotel room. Walked in at 19:00 and was the only customer. Pizza Regina looked tasteful with cheese, mushrooms, ham. â¬9.50. Service fast, friendly and produced on the spot. Taste was mediocre and gad to add pepper myself.Value for money. Next time will pick a more flavored/spicy version

Bienvenue Chez Kera Pizzeria ! Situé à Concarneau, face à la ville close, nous vous accueillons du mardi au samedi midi et soir ! Au plaisir de vous recevoir !
This place does get busy, even in June. Seating can be quite tight.A wide range of pizzas and service was quick and efficient. My Hawaiian pizza was a little burnt and hard to cut on its metal plate, but my friend's Calzone looked good. You can order half pizzas for some of the items which may be a better choice for lunch as they are quite large.I had high expectations as this was ranked no 2 so was a little disappointed.Thank you for you review. We wish you a plaisant trip in bretagne. Team of kera pizzeria

The first time we ate here...some 5 yrs ago, the pizzas were excellent - thin crispy with really fresh generous toppings. Now it's OK...you get what it says on the menu but it's never going to blow anyone away. Often open when everything else closed - so useful if you really crave pizza but thye tend to be served cool.

We've been coming here for a good 4-5 years, each August on holidays. The owner and his wife run the place together and his super-thin crust pizzas are a delight - wonderful dough, great toppings and all taste (not just dough!). One pizza is enough between two adults if not famished - we have three between 5 of us and can still walk. Capacity is limited so don't be surprised to turn up at 7pm and told the whole evening is committed! He's not being rude, it'll be a stack of timed phone pre-orders. Once I twigged I either phone early evening or call by as we head home and arrange to collect an hour later. Forewarned is forarmed!Keep an eye on the opening hours, especially out of peak season. Recommended - and a break from crepes!
