We ate here on our last night before flying out of Zurich. The restaurant was across from our hotel, so it was convenient. We ordered lamb on a grill with vegetables and french fries, spaghetti and raclette casserole for dinner. The lamb was served sliced with a hot grill to the table so you can cook it yourself. It was very good.We also had a torta and gelato for dessert. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the wine and service were good.

We stayed at the Ibis hotel next door, and since there's precious little choice, we ate here. Fortunately we arrived before a wave of hotel guests, so the wait was short. The waiter was very friendly, and the pizza was fine. The menu offers other options, but we shared a pizza since it was so late. The waiter did not charge extra for sharing the dinner, unlike at some places.The dining room was clean, the staff cleared tables quickly so guests could sit sooner. The waiter spoke good English (we speak French, but not Swiss-German or German) and was very friendly. If we stay at the Ibis again, we'd certainly eat here and try some of the pasta dishes that looked so yummy.

This is a 3.5 rating, but I can't split circles unfortunately. We walked here for dinner while staying at nearby hotel during our recent trip to Zurich. We sat outside and the outdoor space was comfortable. We had gnocchi with gorgonzola and a pasta dish with chicken after enjoying an appetizer of bruschetta. The food was good, as was the service. Prices seem a bit high, even by Zurich standards. This place is worth a try if you are in the area.

A colleague and I visited Al dente for dinner since our hotel was close. We were both happy with that decision.The service was very good. They were attentive, friendly and took care of us throughout the dinner service.The menu has enough food choices to satisfy a group of hungry folks. I had the tuna and my colleague a pasta dish. Although the tuna was a little different than I'm used to getting in the states, it was really good. My colleague thoroughly enjoyed his meal.They have a nice wine list with plenty of wines and prices to choose from so that is appreciated.The cost is not cheap but seemed in line given being in Zurich. I recommend Al dente to anyone craving quality Italian fare. Enjoy!

Stopped here for dinner on a hot 30-32 degree day. Absolutely stifling inside. After walking there, we were hot, and asked for tap water as a first request. Wanted to rehydrate, then enjoy the meal and drinks.Stunned to be informed that we could not have it unless we ordered wine.Subsequently, it became apparent that beer or other drinks were ok, as well, but even then, when we ordered drinks, tap water came in a carafe, and we were left with a choice of putting the ordered drinks in the single glass we had or the water?So, difficult to drink it anyway - this just left a bad taste. Never before been refused H20 way. Pizzas were ok, nothing spectacular, except the meat ones, which were literally swimming in grease. In the words of a eat almost anything teen - "I like a little grease, but I don't want to drink it"Nice to have choice of small or large portion, though price difference minimal for size difference. Those who ordered large couldn't finish - it was large.The small pasta was surprisingly very small - but reportedly very goodDecor was quite nice, and service quick and efficient.dont know how it compares to other restaraunts in the area - doesn't seem like there are many great choices, but were not impressed by this one ( after choosing it over another nearby pizza restaraunt based on reviews ( though it still may be better, didn't compare)

Italian food there is most highly recommendable. We have not been in any local restaurant as many times as we have been there. The food is great. Pizza, pasta, or also entrecote / steak, are prepared perfectly well and tasted great each and every time. We are locals and we go eat out on a regular basis and this tops them all. But it is not just the food. Inside, seating is comfortable if not romantic. Outside, the patio lets forget that one is actually in Kloten (of all places). Anywhere it is possible to talk and not be disturbed. And the service personnel is charming, very funny, caring and nice. They are fast, attentive and polite. It is a joy to go there just for that but really it is so much more than that.

We often stay in Kloten the night before our flights back to North America and the Wilden Mann is always on the to-do list. A bright friendly Italian restaurant with attentive staff and great food at good prices.I'm a real thin crust pirzza fan and I find their pies to be superb. Others have tried their other offering and we've yet to have a bad experience.If you're staying at the Welcome Inn, Allegra or Flyaway hotels in Kloten do yourself a favor and drop by for a satisfying meal.

We picked our âjet lag recoveryâ hotel on the fly, and found this restaurant nearby for dinner. The pizza was very good, with the portions perfect for one for the smaller size. The lasagna was very good. The service on the patio could have been more attentive, we went looking for servers for refills and the check.
