Stopped after work to take a pizza & salad back to my hotel. There were several groups there having what looked like a traditional Christmas Eve gathering. My Romio's special was excellent. I ordered a small & 1/2 a dinner salad & could only finish 1/2 of each. Very tasty generous toppings.

This is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that you don't expect to be as good as it is. It's a stereotypical sub-shop layout and could be any sub shop except the food is really good. Friends say the lines can be very long during lunchtime, but I happened to go mid afternoon and it wasn't bad. It was probably one of the better subs I've had in a while and I'd definitely go back.

This take-out place has good pizza with an interesting range of choices -- out of the ordinary. For example, we tried the Wild Mushroom Primo, which is a seasonal offering. Delicious, if you like lots of mushrooms. They have others with goat cheese, spinach and chicken, or prosciutto. Unusual, but tasty.Note: this is thin crust pizza, so if you like the thick, heavily-loaded style, its not for you.

First off, I've never been a big fan of pizza...my husband is, however, and that's why I've tried so many restaurants and home delivery pizzas. 99% of the time, they're too salty, use cheap meats, skimpy on the deluxe toppings, and the crust is too hard. After ordering a pizza from Pagliacci's in Kirkland, I'm now a believer in the customized authentic ITALIAN-crafted pizza. What I ordered was the best pizza I've ever sunk my teeth into. Yummy buttery thin crust? Check. Fresh spinach? Check. Plenty of high quality fresh mozzarella and gorgonzola? Check. Perfectly seasoned marina sauce? Check. I'm looking forward to another order and trying other fresh toppings. The gentleman who took my order over the phone was very polite and professional. The delivery lady was prompt and sweet. She even asked if I'd like to check my pizza before she left to make sure my order was correct. I also ordered their pesto pasta salad - soooo yummy! Please Pagliacci keep up the superb quality and customer service - it's so rare now-a-days. Thank you for a long-awaited pizza-perfect experience!

I couldn't help but return this summer for VL's seafood linguini. A truly savory dish with a uniquely herbal (and creamy) tomato flavor I can't write identify. My brother opted for fettucini (last year) and a chicken dish (this year) and was equally pleased both times.

Zeeks started out as an adult pizzeria over by Greenlake in Seattle. Their pies where good. The Zeeks of today? Especially the one in Kirkland.. It is a breeders paradise for bringing in their nasty ill mannered children. It sucks. The food.. It is just a lame pizza place who yet again know that being in Kirkland will bring people through the door. I go there once a year and cringe at the thought of going in there. And time after time.. Romper Room each and every time. So, not great pizza and you have to deal with other peoples children running around. That is a recipe that makes me wish for the sterilization of the human race.

Family came here for lunch on Sunday. Maybe we arrived too close to opening time. We were immediately seated and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The problem was the food. I had the Giro and it tasted like it was made with reheated sliced meatballs. Two of our group had the meatball sub and it WAS made with reheated sliced meatballs. The flavor was just lacking. Nuff said.

Place is low profile and small. Half fast food half dine-in restaurant. The pizzas are tasty, and served fast, plenty of variety as well. Also serve some beer and wines. But I feel it is a bit pricey for a little place like that. Or maybe it is considered average for the town. Maybe better for delivery.

We discovered Acropolis Pizza and Pasta this summer and have enjoyed several meals already. The pizza has a layer of cheese topping over the other ingredients that is yummy; our favorite is the Greek pizza. The grinders are also a great option as they are huge so are perfect for sharing. We particularly like either the meatball or spicy sausage grinder. The restaurant also features Greek dishes which will be fun to try. The staff is so friendly and welcoming; they make eating at their restaurant extra fun.

The three of us started with delicious black bean soup. They also had minestrone. My husband ordered a shrimp, mushroom and spinach salad with feta and lemon poppyseed dressing. He like it a lot. I got a vinaigrette salad that featured romaine lettuce, Roma tomatoes, black olives, red onions and I ordered chicken on top. There was more romaine than anything else. The other items were rather sparse. The vinaigrette dressing was good. My son got a pizza which he enjoyed.The wines by the glass were good. We didnât order dessert, but the table next to us ordered chocolate cake, cheesecake and spumoni and the servings were large. They seemed to enjoy them. Our server was attentive and our wait for food short. The menu was extensive with lots of great entrees and pastas, but Iâm on weight Watchers and there were too many calories to indulge in them.
