Selected Kiel as our destination on the Rural Arts Road trip. Parker John's online menu offered many BBQ/smoked meats and stone baked pizzas. Excellent selections. Bre our server was very helpful in describing and recommending selections. We had the pulled pork (with 4 different sauces to try) and burned ends (combo of pork & brisket with their KC sauce. Sides of Mac & cheese, baked beans and coleslaw were great. Dinner's also served with TX toast & yummy cornbread. We ended up with leftovers from the large meat serving entrees and also ordered more pulled pork to freeze. Very much worth the 45 min drive from Fond du Lac. Brought home their catering and bulk ordering menu for a future neighborhood bbq. Clean, friendly and awesome!

We are a family owned business started in 1978! Our menu items are made to order & never pre-made! We specialize in home made Pizza, subs, char-grilled sandwiches, Broasted Chicken, Cedar Crest ice cream & much more!!
We had several people gathering at a home in New Holstein on a Sunday afternoon. Called the Village Inn and got two homemade supreme pizzas from scratch in 20 minutes. This was amazing, the thin crust was done perfectly, crisp but not burned. The toppings were all chopped to a good size and the great Wisconsin cheese on top was a perfect amount. Good job, if you get to the area it is a good alternative to fast food or even to cooking yourself for larger groups.... They also make great sandwiches, steaks and burgers, something for everyone...Thank you so much we are glad you enjoyed your pizzas!!

We visited here on a summer Saturday evening, looking forward to a pizza place that would be new to us. The place has a banquet hall attached and the night we were here there was also a wedding reception taking place. We sat out on the deck, which is not recommended because it essentially puts you in the middle of their parking lot, complete with loud motorcycles, gas fumes, and cottonwood seeds garnishing your food and beverages. The service was mediocre. It was 15 minutes from the time we sat down until our drink orders were taken and about 20 minutes until they were served. The main restaurant was not particularly busy. One of our pizzas orders was incorrectly placed (in the kitchen) and so we got the wrong pizza (for which we were comped) but had to wait a while until the pizza we wanted came out. We opted for the grilled pizza which had an excellent crust. The toppings were just O.K. The bruschetta pizza was topped with diced tomatoes, mozzarella, sausage and pepperoni; call it what you want but where I come from this type of pie was referred to as garbage can pizza. Two of the three pizzas we had brought to the table were garnished with a thick balsamic vinegar which everyone thought was a nice touch, even the kids. Our salads were very good and reasonably priced. Overall, the menu prices are on the high side with many of the entrées around the $20 mark. Perhaps not an unreasonable price unless you are are some place other than the middle of Nowhere, Wisconsin and/or the food and service are exceptional. Neither was the case here. We wanted to give this a higher rating, but when the family was surveyed on the car ride back to our cottage, an average rating of 3 was the final tally. All that said, it's not a bad place to try. Will we be back? Don't hold your breath.
