My stepdaughter and her partner took us to this lovely place along the lake for lunch upon arrival from Melbourne. It is their favourite place which is just 5 minutes walk from their place. We were seated outside under an umbrella, watching the ducks, pelicans and other birds while enjoying our lunch. It was a lovely day when we arrived. The food was great and I really enjoyed it. Then on ANZAC DAY, we came back again for breakfast after the dawn service and oh, I loved my egg Benedict. The service was great. Overall, a lovely place to enjoy having a meal.

Visited on a Friday night (two couples).First of all, I had heard that service was below par. However, nothing could have been further from this. The staff were very attentive and friendly, often asking if everything was OK.The food was also delicious, creating a very pleasant dining experience with nice ambiance and background (Italian) music. The restaurant was definitely authentic Italian, having those unique Italian drinks to compliment the food.I will be back as it will be ideal for a large family gathering.

Went on a wintry week night around 6.30pm, Good decor, service was a tad slow to begin with to get the drinks, but improved as the evening wore on. Food was tasty and of good quality - honest, reliable and filling. What more could you ask for. Desserts were excellent as well. Overall a solid evening out. One downside was that we were seated at the table nearest the front door. As the foot traffic came in and out of the restaurant, frequent blasts of cold air made the dining unpleasant...

Took visitors to this beautiful local winery. Amazing views across the Adelaide hills provided a stunning backdrop. A great range of wines from light Sav Blanc to gutsy Shiraz accompanied by a shared cheese plate and the best Pizza I have had in a long time. Staff are very friendly. Wine tasting was varied. Has a real family feel with a great buzz around the place. A must do if your in Adelaide

Warm plates, hot food, and ample topping. Served on a deliciously thin crust, this wood oven pizza was faultless. Also, their house made ice coffee, the real deal, topped with cream and icecream was refreshing as it wasnât too sweet. A good selection of cakes to have with coffee. Also, local wines and beer/ciderDelightful setting, lovely friendly staff and good, happy service

A lovely building, great restaurant setting, but oh so let down by food options. Pizzas and burgers the main food choices, and these were ordinary, small, not even accompanied by chips. Ordered a BLT sandwich, that was a kid size serve no chips. Pizzas didnât look too bad. But only small size. Good coffee. Hopefully the managers of this establishment will look at better food options and fill those empty seats. Donât both unless u only want a snak type eat. Could do so much better. Lots of variety for breakfast or brunch. Food was good but needs a little tweak. For example pancakes with maple syrup bacon and eggs was swamped in syrup drowning out other flavours. My baked eggs were delicious but the onion was under cooked and the side order of mushrooms tasteless. Service was very friendly and efficient. Very busy little cafe with great atmosphere.

Went here with work colleagues for an informal dinner. The ambiance is lovely, you can drink at the bar before dinner while waiting for friends, the restaurant is very quaint, the staff are exceptionally friendly and the food is....well as per the title. Everything is made on site, they are very proud to announce that upon your arrival (rightly so), and is therefore very fresh. The meals are a perfect size, just enough to leave room for my take home doggie bag, as I was so full. I canât believe that I have frequented Mawson Lakes hotel on numerous occasions for dinner and yet never had the pleasure of dropping in here. I should have opened my eyes sooner and done my research. Thank goodness for word of mouth. Do yourself a favour, remove the blinkers and try it. Paid cash, splitting the bill was very easy, even with about 10 of us.Thank you for you Rating & Review. We value your time & feedback. So glad you discovered La Vita and enjoyed your dine in experience. We hope you visit again real soon.CheersFrom The La Vita Team
