Usually, we don't like places that have everything - pizza, seafood, pasta,... But La Meridiana was different. Recommended by locals who know what good food is, it was a perfect choice. A nice walk from Forio center, the restaurant is on the beach which means fabulous seaview. We had some pizza and a grilled fish and both was more than perfect. A pizza that pizzaioli in Naples would be ashamed of and a perfectly grilled sea bream. With a kind family atmosphere in the place (the whole family participating in cooking/serving process) and excellent food, this is on our dining list for the next visit of Ischia.

Fresh food, very well prepared. They have a whole page of the menu devoted to Scamortza alla Brace, grilled, local cheese with a huge variety of toppings. Think pizza without the crust. The mixed grill plate was incredible - the best grilled chicken breast ever. Ambiance was casual and friendly. Nice views from the terrace. The staff was great - attentive and friendly. The place is a bit removed - a taxi suggested.Grazie per la vostra ottima recensione

A local hangout that has excellent pizza but we were disappointed with the rest of the food. Nice people - looks like a family operation with Nona at the cash register. Parking is nonexistent so we parked in the port parking lot and walked. They don't really start serving until 7:30 but most locals come in at 8:00 or 8:30. Real wood fired brick oven and they serve a wonderful flat bread, hot out of the oven when you sit down to order.

The âsales pitchâ was warm and inviting, the primi piatti were very tasty (note they do gluten-free pasta) but the service really let them down. After eating the first course we were up for more food. But no one came back to our table after clearing the plates (which took a while) so eventually we just asked for the bill and left, slightly hungry.

Great Italian cafe/pizzeria. We can't speak much Italian, but were able to get by - we ate here several times during our week in Ischia. Probably the best Cappuccino I had on the island too. Lots of varieties of pizza, friendly staff.

After a sunny day at the seaside, La Capanna let you enjoy a wide range of drinks and delicious dishes from the local and the Italian tradition. You can taste the real Pizza Napoletana, with its vivacious tastes, crunchy crust and smoky fragrance as it co
Went here tonight based on Trip Advisor reviews, had an amazing meal of Argentinian steak and extras. It really is worth the walk, mind the steps at night though as it is a little dark..

The pappardelle with fu ghi porcini was delicious, I would have just cooked a minute less the pasta! The appetizers were very good, bruschette and pumpkin flowers.Nice ambient as well.

Top choice if you would like to feel thoroughly spoiled. The presentation of the food was beautiful but more importantly it was also delicious. We just ordered a primo (occhi di lupo con crema di zucchine), but greatly appreciated the homemade bread selection and sweet treat at the end we were also served. Most of all, though, we were bowled over by the service - wonderfully attentive and kind staff. Extra special thanks to the maitre who ingeniously fashioned an ice-pack by vacuum-packing ice for us to take back to our hotel as I had swollen ankle. What more can I say? We hope to come on holiday to Ischia again just to return here!

Great quality of food. Everything tasted wonderful. The choices are limited but whatever you choose should be very tasty. We had the antipasto, pasta dishes and grilled meats. All good! Itâs a little difficult to reach and the ride from their little shuttle is quite entertaining given the extremely steep hill. Wonderful view once you arrive. Definitely recommend. Also we sat outside and it even rained, we were kept dry by their awning.
