There are oodles of pizza joints in Huntington, and they are all very good. For me, the best is Rosa's, from the chain of pizzerias that span Long Island, Queens, and Manhattan.Although (interestingly), Rosa's "plain" Neopolitan slice is not spectacular, its specialty slices, such as the Upside Down Sicilian, the Egg Plant slice, and the Ravioli slice, are among the best pizza slices I have had anywhere. They also make a really good (though it IS a pizza place) egg plant hero, and some decent entrees like pasta w. clam sauce or garlic and oil. My favorite part of eating at Rosa's is the outdoor seating during mild weather months. Situated at the corner of Clinton Avenue and bustling Main Street (25A), the little sidewalk cafe with its rickety tables and chairs makes a great place to people watch and absorb the energy of one of Long Island's last hopping downtowns. Note, too, that the building that houses Rosa's is the former home of The Long Islander Newspaper, which was started by Walt Whitman in 1839. This building is currently undergoing renovations (February 2016) and is slated to include an expanded dining area and other improvements for Rosa's.

Average Italian food. Decent portions. Great garlic knots. Outdoor dining in a little garden overlooking Main Street. We were very disappointed to be charged SIX dollars for a side of plain pasta..like 15 pieces of penne undressed in a small bowl????? An entire bowl of penne ala vodka was $14 so how dare they charge $6 for 15 little pieces of pasta. Won't be back.

I have stopped here several times and had very good pizza! Recently however I ordered an eggplant parm dish (with spaghetti) to go and my wife and I were amazed how delicious this dish was! Clearly this is an item we will go back for! Their spinach pizza is also really tasty! Service is quick!

Tucked away in Huntington is this little gem of a restaurant named Massa's, that creates the tastiest thin crust pizza. As soon as you enter you are hit with that wonderful aroma of fresh dough , tomatoes and garlic. Just the beginning of what is to come.A great pie needs to start with a flavorful crust, and these pies are right on the mark. Beautifully dotted with San Marzano tomatoes, spices and fresh mozzarella. Oh and not to forget the fresh basil too. There are plenty of toppings to select from. I kept it simple, fresh garlic and Kalamatta olives. That salty bite of the olives just ties it all together for a pop of flavor that leaves you wanting more.My hubby loves the meatballs. And kids love the pepperoni. This restaurant is a must try. If you've ever had Grimaldi's in Brooklyn or pie in Milan Italy ( I've had both) , this place is right up there.

It gets crowded on the weekends, but the food is always good and we always have some to take home and eat another day! My only problem is we will be considering other spots in Huntington and then end up saying - "I don't want to think. Let's go to Porto Fino!

When I think of New York pizza I think of Little Vincent's. The thin crust is absolutely awesome. They usually have a coupon in the local paper that gives you a free pie if you purchase the first one.
