We visited Pogolino's for the first time when we moved to Festus about 12 years ago. We don't remember much of the visit, but for whatever reason, we never went back. Having read a recent article in the Jefferson County Leader about remodeling and now serving craft beers, we decided to give it a try. We're glad we did!A bit early for dinner, we were seated immediately, and drink orders taken right away. The addition of local microbrewery beers was a good move, as I think think the Urban Chestnut Zwickel, a Bavarian style lager, is a great beer to wash down the pizza.For dinner, we had to get the Pogolino's classic "Clown Special". The name apparently was from the early years of the restaurant when it was clown themed. They tried to change it over the years, but the name just stuck.It's what I'd call a classic "everything" pie with pepperoni, ham, pork sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, and onion. It's a St. Louis style thin crust pie and square cut as you'd expect. It was PERFECTLY cooked. The edges were a little brown and crispy, and the center was done.The restaurant itself looks great. The tables are not crowded at all. The booth we sat at overlooking Main Street was very comfortable. Lighting was neither too bright nor too dim. Service was excellent, and with a smile. In fact, all the staff seemed to be smiling, moving with a purpose, and seemed genuinely happy for our business. That's a good sign. Great visit. We've added this to our list of local restaurants we'll visit on a regular basis. The news article said you're going to add wine selections. We overheard the couple behind us try to order a glass of Merlot, but were told you don't have that. You really should serve a Merlot. That pairs well with pizza.

what more can you say? Its Imo's!!!! People in the mid west consider it the BEST pizza ever and will argue the point. Most that have moved out of Missouri say the first thing they want to do when they visit is go to Imo's.

I most certainly will never order from this domino's pizzeria ever again after fighting to get my money back for almost 48 hours on top of that i asked the first time for a refund which a delivery driver had sent out another pizza stating that i owe a delivery charge after the fact that i stated i just wanted a refund and that i was very sick not because of the pizza but the overall quality and service was just terrible. I would like to seek a corporate investigation into the matters of true customer service to the regional manager of domino's through out the multiple location he owns in the Greater St. Louis area. I will be sure to order pizza from imo's or the local pizzeria's instead. I was so mad and aggravated that i thought i was going to have to call corporate...

We were traveling near this Pasta House restaurant, so we planned on stopping in for their delicious Pasta House specialty salads. We were not disappointed. The dinner rolls and butter we super good, also. Friendly waiter, clean restaurant. Stop in...you will enjoy it!

This store is very clean, they have a deli with awesome food, also deliver pizza, their breakfast pizza is very good, it's located in downtown area of Desoto so it's very convient, they also have a beer cave that sells the coldest beer in town!

I have food delivered from Casey's and it is always perfect. Pizza's are wonderful, subs are so delicious. Treats to go along with your order are a great addition to any meal. The price is great too.

Without a doubt the best pizza Iâve ever had! Menu has lots to offer and plenty of seating. Itâs a local place that has plenty of regulars. Amazing ranch dressing with wings! Owners are always around and the service is top notch. Super friendly every time we go! Take a side trip if you are nearby, itâs worth it! Always clean too which is something my wife and I now demand when we eat out. Clown Special is my favorite pizza (loaded with many toppings) and the wings and salad are awesome too. They have lunch specials.
