Angelo's Downtown Pizza

Don't let quaint, out of the way places fool ya. Ate supper here today. Pretty small place. Folks working there are very friendly. We shared a Greek salad (very good) and had a "meat lovers" pizza. Having had pizza from many different places, I must say this ours was really, really good. Crust was cooked just right. Will most assuredly return. They do a lot of "call in and take out" orders. Can't go wrong eating here.

I am so sorry we didnt go sooner , this is the best Pizza in the area bar none ! Great crust , quality toppings and cheese like I remember from my New York days . Brooklyn should be proud of Giovanni ! His older brother Sal had a shop in Murphy and my review said I thought he was thrown out of Brooklyn for not knowing how to make Pizza . His younger brother got the pizza genes .......Dont bother to go anywhere else just go here and trust me you will not be let down . Great Pizza at a fair price and nice friendly people ..............Forget about it !!!!!!!!!

If you are seeking some New York style Pizza Pie then this is your next destination!! Roma's captures the essence of New York Pizza in the mountains of WNC. There are several Italian restaurants in Hayesville but you should try this one first!! The ambiance is not great but the food is and that is what you pay for and expect. Give it a try after you have hiked in Fire's Creek Recreational Park and waded in the creek!

First time in Hayesville, NC and we were hungry. Found you by accident - great accident!Large restaurant with well-spaced out booths & picnic type benches. We were greeted immediately and told to take a seat anywhere, we choose a booth. Our waitress Julia took our beer orders and then came back to get our food orders. You can see into the very clean kitchen where there is a wood-fired oven for the pizza. As, I said before we were hungry, but the burger & Philly were not pre-cooked - so it was a while before we got our lunch. All was great! I had upgraded from French fries to the onion rings. The best I have ever had!Spouse was not fond of the Texana Imperial Stout 11% alcohol (He should have asked for a sample.) I had a hearty Ducktown Porter. My only suggestions is than the booth seats need a pillow. We where in town for the 10th Annual Pumpkin Chunkin'. If ever back in this area - we will definitely stop again.
