We ordered a couple of medium sized pizzas to eat: Diavola and 4 Formaggi.Total price was 15,50â¬! Super good deal for such tasty pizzas.Diavola was specially good. We kind of missed more cheese on top of our Quattro Formaggi pizza... The restaurant is quite small and casual. Nothing fancy. Total of 3-4 tables indoors and outdoors.Downside was that it had no air-con at all and our visit was in August... It was too hot inside.

Happened by the neighborhood for another restaurant and since it was closed, a quick search on TripAdvisor yielded this little gem. We were welcomed warmly and we noted that most of the patrons were locals.The menu was in Italian but my talented wife translated the essential bits and we ordered via a young man who spoke English. The food portion were generous and very tasty. I had spaghetti with scampi and clams in olive oil and diced tomato. The wife had sliced beef on rocket salad. The house wines were also very drinkable and I starts from 1/4litre portions.A good find and we rolled out feeling very satisfied. The staff also helped us call a cab.

If youâre passing through or stopping in Florence go to this place! The pizza is fantastic and the service is second to none! All the guys in the shop work really hard and are really great - we visited last year and came back this year and all we could talk about was this pizza man shop! Thank you so much! Chose this restaurant for our 30th Anniversary Dinner. (Actually, researched it on TripAdvisor before we left the US and made a reservation weeks in advance!) We had great service (and the waiter was a newbie) and the suggested steak was terrific! The waiter also mentioned sides and we actually had a tomahawk cut for the 3 of us.Dessert was delightful (as were the wine suggestions)... We can see why the restaurant had such high marks! Absolutely, no rush for our meal - everything was excellent and at a very nice pace!

Came here after the good reviews and comments on the great pizza.The decor of the restaurant is lovely and on the whole looks very nice.We were greeted with a free glass of prosecco.Our waiter unfortunately was very off with us all night which resulted in him losing his tip from us. It was like we'd annoyed him in some way, or when we asked for something it was like we were an inconvenience.The pizza was average, really nothing mind blowing.We were given a shot of some brown liquor at the end which was absolutely vile.. I joked with my partner that the waiter truly hated us.It was also incredibly hot last night and the restaurant had no ac or fan, my boyfriend had to go outside several times to cool down as sweat was running off of him.On the upside, our starters (pictured) were delicious.

This is our 5th visit to Florence and we have stayed in The Oltrarno area 3 times now. We love the neighborhood feeling. Amici di Ponte Vecchio is a great hole in the wall that has Pizza and Sandwiches however, the pizza is a Focaccia style of Pizza. No sauce. Itâs delicious and a must while you are in Firenze.

Ordered burger and pork hock with sauerkraut. Waiter said he would would check for availability. No response so we assumed it was fine. Takeout order taken to B&B. Subbed pulled pork sandwich and fries. Not hubbyâs choice. They didnât ask what else he would like. Burger was good. Pulled pork was so-so. Not impressed with substitution.

My Fiancé and I stopped by for lunch and oh my goodness Iâm glad we did! We chose to have a slice of each on display and we were not disappointed, each slice was absolutely delicious! The base and toppings were fresh and full of flavour, we would fully recommend trying a bite of each. It was super busy so hold out for a table :).The staff were exceptionally friendly and very welcoming, we really enjoyed our visit

Wonderful perfect delicious!!! We would happily give this more than 5 stars!!!!Service was wonderful from the lady and the gentleman that made the pizza was reserved but friendly.We had the margarita and also one without cheese but garlic and chilli and shared the two between us. The base was perfect thin and melted in the mouth and the crust was perfectly chewy and good for moping up lost tomato sauce.Only negative is we went to go back again tonight and it was closed GUTTED we loved loved loved it. A wonderful pizzeria (no sides and stuff just pure pizza) itâs very small so felt really intimate and no horrible loud Americans that seem to be everywhere in this city. Great beer and wine and an amazing price well worth the short walk. Should we ever come back we would eat here again!!! Hi, I'm sorry you found it closed. Now the winter begins for us and we are open only on weekends and Mondays. From 10 November to 22 November we are closed for holidays. Thanks for the wonderful review.By pizzacchiere staff

We were luck to come across this retsaurant in our reviews for Grassina and we are glad we did. We had their piazzas and they were some of the best we had in our stay in Italy so far. They have the most variety of piazza we have seen and you could really have a custom made piazza which I did. Also great service. Price is very reasonable.Not to be missed.
