Tunxis Grill & Pizzeria is a local favorite with a casual atmosphere and friendly service. There are a variety of menu options and a full-service bar.
The food you will live we tried everything . Everything was delicious. We just felt a bit rushed from appetizers no time to chew maybe 7 minutes and then main course. All in all friendly staff, clean establishment food is delicious. Hello,Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the food and the staff! We will pass along your feedback to our team so that we can resolve this in the future. Hope to see you again soon!
this was such a surprise to find this sweet restaurant at the north end of Simsbury. Very good food and excellent service. went as a family, no problem seating and really enjoyed the food. will go back! Had pizza, a pasta dish and salad, all very hot, served promptly and everyone loved the food.

We usually order the Elm City Haddock. Because we canât eat carbs, Antonioâs allows us to substitute extra zucchini and mushrooms instead of rice. We get the same booth overlooking a beautiful aquarium. Antonioâs is full of nicknacs to keep your dinner ambience interesting. The food and service is very good. The fish is well priced and they accept American Express. We have gone to this family owned restaurant many times and shall return with friends.

Marco's is good fare. The marinara is sweet and brown sauce (marsala) lacks flavor. Pizza is good. Desserts are excellent. My many experiences on weekend dining nights in the winter, is that they are trying to save money on heat. If I had my choice I would eat next door at the Cracker Barrel Pub.

My family has been ordering takeout pizza from Gioâs for years. Slowly, the pizza has become less of a fan favorite. This most recent time will be it for a while. What we experienced: It wasnât hot, barely warm. While the crust was fine, there was too much cheap, greasy cheese that slid around. We paid for chicken and broccoli, both of which there was very little of. Even the cutting of the slices was off....
This was our favorite pizza restaurant in Granby...that is until it recently changed hands to a family member. The prior owner built his reputation on making good pizza with top ingredients in abundance and delivery was free (although we always paid the delivery person). The new owner has changed the formula that made his predecessor successful. Fewer ingredients on the pizza, pizza crust has changed and he now charges $1.00 for delivery. The choices he is making are his business however where I purchase a pizza is mine. Being a small business owner myself I called the restaurant knowing the importance of feedback....in other words if you don't know it is broken, you can't fix it. I was told the owner was out of town until Wednesday by the manager who was indifferent to my call. I was not seeking anything and the call was for informative purposes only. Based on the indifference of the manager and the obvious decline in quality I will be taking my business elsewhere. Service was average, the pizza is average and the concern of management is poor. While it is important to make a profit, sometimes the need for revenue causes the quality of food and service to suffer which I found to be true. There are many other fine pizza establishments within Granby; a town of 12,0000+ having no less than 5 places to purchase pizza.

Have eaten several meals here and never disappointed. Nice thing it is not a chain restaurant, actually family home cooking, generous proportions, fair value, eat in or take out you will not be disappointed. My favorite is the lasagna.

Running a good restaurant is hard and I so want them to succeed so I hate to give poor reviews. Maybe their pizza will keep them going, but we have not tried that. Ordered a couple entrées tonight and tomato sauce was the thin, rosy colored type with not much taste. The rolls were like hotdog buns or sub rolls and the lettuce was iceberg....that was the kicker. Won't be back, sorry

went first time with girlfriend for lunch. had mainstay burrata salad and fried calamari.returned a month later with husband to have pepperoni pizza (he ate it too quickly). I had the same burrata salad, and fried calamari because I liked it so much.I suggest going for lunch if you don't like weekend evening crowds.

This is a good, local place with very tasty Italian dishes, pizza and broasted chicken. I have never had anything I did not like and have been coming here for 20 years. Very basic décor.
