Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in Georgetown. Although not a crowded Caribbean tourist spot, Georgetown is a unique city that serves as a perfect jumping point for ecotours into the South American interior. Its Victorian and Dutch Colonial architecture is detailed with louvered window shutters and brick and stone work. Built below the high tide level, the city is protected by a large seawall and drained by a grid of canals. Sundry goods can be found at the distinctive Stabroek Market, while the landmark Light House offers panoramic views.
Things to do in Georgetown
Small and warm restaurant with good selections of Cuban food. Good music and good service. Located in a very nice area. Easy to reach.
This is one of the most incredible places in Guyana. The food is overwhelmingly good and the service is excellent. I recommend them not only to Cubans, but also to everyone who is passing through Georgetown.I am very selective with the food and in this place I was totally satisfied. In addition, I was able to taste an excellent Cuban beer. Finally, for the heat of Georgetown this place has a comfortable temperature thanks to the air conditioner.Hola muchas gracias por su visita. Esperamos q regrese pronto.

I have been there 3 times and always they surprise me when I choose a different pizza. Of course, they have different plates but I love the pizzas that are very good and the price is acceptable for size and quality. I highly recommend Mario's for somebody coming to Georgetown, Guyana !
Top 10 American food in Georgetown, Demerara-Mahaica, Guyana
Went to this place as I'm trying to find good pizza in Georgetown. I think this place used to be a Domino's but now they have changed the sign but the colours, style and look of the restaurant is eerily similar to the other similarly named pizza placeThere are plenty of pizzas to choose from on their ready to order menu or you can make your own. I wanted pepperoni and mushroom, but I was told they didn't have pepperoni (yes, in a pizza restaurant) so I ordered the Hawaiian Feast which has diced turkey, , chicken, smoked turkey bacon, pineapple, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, provolone cheese on a parmesan crust. The pizza didn't have sauce which is typical for Georgetown pizza. It was ok but I'm not one for chicken on pizza. Would prefer ham or pepperoni. I'm glad I tried it, but I would only try it again if they had pepperoni. They offer other sides and smoothies/blended drinks but I was only interested in trying the pizza.
