This is a favourite of the locals where one can find good local dishes, such as tagliatelle with truffle, at very affordable prices. Pizzas seem to be one of the house favourite here when we looked around, and we found out why when our truffle pizza with the name of "UFO" arrived. The crust was thin yet crisp throughout, and with the right amount of thinly sliced beef and truffle. Tagliatelle with truffle was even more fragrant although the two together were quite filling. We also had the entrecôte that is worth a try just for the ingenious way it is presented, and it was delicious too. With wine and water it was unbelievably inexpensive and we were told it was always full, so reserve ahead or be very flexible with waiting.

After a long climbing from the trip at the beautiful river, we stopped for eating.They are simple, tasty and with a very good service.The dishes prices are fare.The view looks like a painting and even a parking is available.

Domenica a pranzo prenotiamo in coincidenza con la sagra del paese, il plateatico è quasi al completo e il clima è perfetto.Abbiamo provato diverse pietanze.I panini sono molto piaciuti, come anche le patatine con cui sono accompagnati.Il galletto è risultato saporito e nota di merito va data alla cottura. Grigliando il pollo a casa non riesco facilmente a raggiungere una cottura uniforme anche all'interno, e anche diversi ristoranti mi hanno deluso su questo aspetto: qui invece - complice forse la dimensione inferiore dei tranci di carne - la cottura è stata davvero perfetta.La pizza non mi ha entusiasmato: non é male, ma le recensioni che avevo letto mi avevano creato aspettative non rispettate. C'è sicuramente di meglio in giro, per chi ama la pizza alta "napoletana". Anche gli abbinamenti delle guarniture non tradizionali mi hanno lasciato un po' perplesso, ho fatto fatica a trovare abbinamenti che mi sembrassero armonici, tant'é che mi sono alla fine rifugiato in una combinazione molto semplice.Il servizio può migliorare: c'è in generale un po' di confusione (eppure quantitativamente il personale mi è sembrato più che adeguato) e scegliendo portate differenti non si riesce a mangiare insieme. Ho notato che è successo anche ad altri clienti, ma nel nostro caso le pizze sono state servite quasi 10 minuti prima dei piatti provenienti dalla cucina. Mi rendo conto che non si tratti di una cosa facile, sulla quale peraltro resto deluso spesso in diversi posti, ma fare ristorazione dovrebbe voler dire anche questo.Prezzi modici. Ci tornerei.

Probably this is a family-oriented restaurant, and this explains why there were so many kids screaming and running around like maniacs. I am not against children if they are well-mannered, but when it is too much it becomes annoying for the other guests trying to have dinner and trying to exchange a normal conversation. Food was overall good, a bit over-priced, but what ruined everything was the atmosphere. Not to try if you see kids running around...

We had a delightful dinner with friends at this roadhouse pizzeria. The place was packed with locals and travelers as it was during the World Cup playoffs. The service was good and the pizza was very good. I would recommend it.

We stopped at Ai Torcoli for lunch while touring Valpolicella and its wineries. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the countryside. Our server was friendly and spoke some English. The food and wine were very enjoyable. It was a great place to stop and take a break from the winding roads.

Perfect pizza, in a really friendly pizzeria.After hunting for somewhere to eat on our first night in the area we stumbled upon what looked like a pretty nondescript bar. Read a few reviews on here and decided to give it a go.We managed to get a table without a reservation, which was quite lucky by the sounds of things.All the staff were really nice and there is loads of selection on the menu, including a stack of award winning vegan pizzas if you fancy something different.After being locked out of the villa later in our break it really wasnât a tough choice to return for more pizza!The first time we visited, there was quite a lot of people getting take away (mostly locals by the looks of things).
