The place is in the center of the walking area of Follonica.It looks very nice from outside and has tables outside too, very pleasant in summer evenings.We have been here for dinner without reservation and while we discovered that food is quite good (we had quite a variety of alternative plates) we experienced one of the worst approaches from waiters ever.To be noted that service is commpursory in the bill or I would have refused to pay the service charge.Waiters are not Italian and do not speack properly Italian or other languages, or at least the do not understand correctly.We have had difficulty in making orselves understood and waited long time for catching their attention. When they served us they were doing it almost as they were doin us a favour. Dishes were handed over not layed on the table just becoused they wew not bothered to walk around the table to serve us.As we finished the last bite, they grabbed away the plates as to say..."move on fast".The bill came to us wrong (strange isn't it...not to our advantage in price) and we noticed taht also other people of other tables were complaining.So, as said, while the food is good, the restaurant should be a pleasure not a place to be badly treated. Therefore, given the vast choice in the area, I suggest all to skip this place and move on. The owners should think harder the quality of the employees and give strict directives on how to behave and treat guests: this is part of the whole restaurant approach, not only food.

Siamo ritornati in questo locale dopo un po' di tempo, di passaggio da Follonica, abbiamo ritrovato una pinsa sempre buona, gustosa, ben farcita e cosa da non sottovalutare facilmente digeribile.Da ritornarci presto!!!

Locale rinnovato da poco e molto ben tenuto.Forno a legna per le pizze.Pesce fresco e cucinato molto bene.Titolare simpaticissimo.Sicuramente torneremo.Prezzo nella normalità .

My wife and I ate in this place in Follonica last week at lunchtime. We both enjoyed grilled fish which was very fresh and tasty. It was also nice to be located right on the beach; we would highly recommend this establishment.

The restaurant is newly refurbished, ~1 km out of the centre of Follonica. We needed a place to accommodate four tired children, Montecristo was great in that respect: there's a large play area behind the restaurant, with some toys, where we could let the kids play and run around. The food, however, was average: a large number of items to select from, of average quality and presentation; a pizza/calzone too were somewhat undercooked.

We were on vacation near Follonica and after we discovered this restaurant, it became our "reference" place.They have very good and reasonably priced pizzas (try the one with porcini) and pasta dishes. The personnel is very friendly and, last but not least, we discovered that their bathrooms are much cleaner than what you unfortunately get used to expect in Italy (and I say that as Italian).If I could, I would give the restaurant a 3.5 rating: it's above average, but maybe not quite "very good".

Salad was extremely sour.Portions were very tiny.Oven vegetabels were just one small potato slice one tomato slice and 2 pieces of eggplant, which were not done. Its unhealthy uncooked. They gave me the same eggplant slices back, completely dried. They were even thougher than our napkin... at least one waiter was friendly and ok. All in all. I can not recommand it at all. Food is bad and of low quality.

Excellent! That's the word for their pizza and service. Small pizzeria in the corner of the street. Not many place for parking but we found it exactly in front of this pizzeria. Pizza is about 5-6⬠with big portion. You can eat there or just take away.

A little bit outside the shopping street, this is also a nice place for dinner in Follonica.For steack lovers, this is definitively the place to go. Formerly called the steackhouse, these roots are still in the place! The Angus was just lovely!For seafood, there is still room for improvement or at least, there are other places to go to.The service is fast and efficient.

This lot must have a huge family to get so many positive reviews! The pizza was soggy and really very uninteresting. It is a good job we were only passing through as we would have been really gutted had we driven out of our way to get here. The only good thing about it was the price, although that is a bit irrelevant when the food is just so bad.
