Allinferno was more than just a pleasant surprise. After a long flight and a day of marathon shopping this was the perfect end to a wonderful day. The locale is in the countryside and with a building that's been lovingly restored. It use to be an old farmhouse with stables and a tobacco room. It's obvious great care was taken with its' restoration. An authentic space and super clean. The food is literally a feast for all senses. Home grown, regional fare not to be missed. From a well travelled connoisseur, this little piece of heaven is it. Exceptional service and incredible ambience with the singing crickets just outside. A true dream. It's truly not a place you can find on your own .....you have to be sent there. Not to be missed!

We went for lunch on our first day in Italy and the food was really quite poor, so poor in fact, that we were thinking it was a joke. We then had some take away pizza a couple of days later and they were some of the best pizzas we've ever had, so my advise is this:-Don't bother eating here other than for the pizzas in the evening (after 7pm). They really are sensational!Oh and one other thing, everyone who works there is lovely!

We ate here a couple of times as we were staying here 5 nights during a visit to Tuscany. Nice family run restaurant, pleasant surroundings, very accommodating good service. Food was well prepared and delicious.

The Tuscany/Umbria border is our favourite holiday destination and we have been 4 times in the last 6 years. The first place we go every year for our supermarket shopping in the Penny Market at Farniole near the A1, and our first Tuscan meal is always a takeaway pizza from Menchettis.They do it by the slab, you just say how much you want and they cut it. Never had a bad pizza and probably always ordered too much, but buy is it tasty!It is INSIDE Penny Market, so go in there and it is on your right, enjoy!Thank you so much! We are really glad to hear that from you.We hope you keep coming to Tuscany and keep visiting us in our shops!

We live quite locally & have a choice of many restaurants & trattoria that serve a good standard of food. However, over the years, our 'go-to' eating place has been Pizzeria-Trattoria Napoli. It is consistently excellent, offering an extensive menu of Tuscan dishes, a changing menu of the day, & - my personal favourites - the lightest restaurant pici & the best focaccia around. The service is welcoming, informal & efficient, & the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is effortlessly authentic & attracts staff from surrounding businesses as well as tourists who stumble upon it. We've also dined here in the evening, when the 'Pizzeria' aspect comes into play along with the other menu dishes. (Non-tourist area pizzerias, with genuine wood-fired ovens, usually only operate in the evenings). If pizzas are your thing, this is one of the best, but book ahead in the summer if you want an outside table - another testimony to its quality.

We had several nice meals in this lovely restaurant. Good food at acceptable prices. The restaurant has a very nice garden with lots of seating. Be careful not to miss the entrance from the road, as it is not very well visable.

We have visited Locanda del Baraccotto at 25 of September. It was wedding dinner of our beloved friends.... So, the atmosphere was really cozy and romantic. All stuff were helpful and friendly. Homemade Ravioli with ricotta and pine nuts were delicious!!! Don't miss this place if you will be Lucignano!

After some shopping in the Valdichiana Outlet, where del Borgo is situated in, we went for pizza at 6 pm. Knowing this is an odd time for Italians to eat, I politely asked in Italian if it was possible to eat at this time. âNo problemâ, was the reply by the waiter. Just for once, you Italians, if I am able to ask in Italian what I want, please respond in Italian. Your English is worse than my understanding of the Italian language ;)On order: two pizze margherita and one pizza prosciutto e funghi. What came out of the oven was downright embarrassing! To us as guests, but mainly to all Italians working hard at their ovens to create wonderful pizzas. The bottom was so hard, you could break of a corner and actually hurt someone with it. The tomato was wet. The funghi was staring at me like it was asking me for forgiveness since it came out of a jar! Shiny mushrooms from a jar. What the ****? Am I mistaking? Is this not Italy? I poked in a mushroom and water came out of it. Unbelievable and disgusting. Is this a new thing in Italy? A pizza slurpy? I didnât ate a pizza, I almost drank it.Within 5 minutes after the pizzas were set on our table I went inside and paid the man. What for, I donât know. I should have made a huge fuss about this, but for the 26 euros it hardly was worth the extra effort. And he didnât seem happy at all, so I guess the owner of Del Borgo is to blame for buying disgusting ingredients and having his staff cook with them.I trust my money will go towards the Italian Fund Against Jarred Mushrooms. After this we went to Spizzico. The pizza equivalent of McD. Not great either (sorry, just Margheritas right now), but the taste is a lot better and you can actually eat a slice of pizza instead of nearly drinking one.

Me and my friend were returning from a weekend at the Terme and it was 5pm, all restaurants along the road were closed. Well we stumbled in this trattoria and found friendly owners and staff that allowed us a proper meal despite the odd hour. I had a Chianina steak which was delicious and very reasonably priced. If you're in the area to visit the Outlet or whether you are passing by as we were, stop by and sit down for a hearty meal and some friendly chatter.

somehow hard to find in this small town (village ?), but you would definitely come back once tasted the pizza (and other dishes). We, as crazy about truffle, the pizza with truffle. Not only the taste was verrrry good, but als the structure of the base was one of the best we tasted in Italy ! Compliments to all and surely to the pizzaiolo !
