For the life of me, I can't understand why this particular pizza joint is so slow to fill customer orders for...PIZZA! They only have one thing that they do, and for some reason it takes them forever to do it. Could be they're understaffed, but every time I've placed an order with them, I can go out and get an oil change and get my car inspected by the time my simple order is ready. I've been to plenty of pizza places that have your pie ready in 10-15 minutes. Multiply that by TWO and this pizza hut still can't deliver on time. P.S.--I also miss the salad bar the old Pizza Hut had.

Domino's Pizza in Farmville, VA is a nice little place. The food is as you would expect from a chain restaurant and the building itself is small. Perfect place to order pizza to go, but not to sit in and eat. When ordering delivery, be sure to check your order and ensure you have received all that you have purchased. On numerous occasions, I have either not received an item or received the wrong item. All in all, when things go correctly, things are great and to expectation. When they go wrong it is a frustrating and problematic experience. Best of luck, safe travels, and enjoy!
Why Catbird for the name of the rooftop terrace on the Hotel Weyanoke? Included in the definition - Catbirds seek out the highest perches in trees to sing and display. It may also be the source of an earlier term with much the same meaning - 'sitting pret
I stayed at the Hotel Weyanoke for a conference and had an opportunity to have a drink at the Catbird Rooftop Terrace. It's an absolutely beautiful bar with amazing views over the town,,great service and mid-priced but well made drinks. Their drink menu is good and the bartender made a wonderful gin martini for me with an olive. The bartender that night was also very friendly and attentive and was quick to get the drinks and bill back to us that evening. The bar also has a cornhole set and lots of seating, both at the bar and around it. Very nice spot and I will be sure to visit when I return.Thank you so much for your detailed review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the full experience while visiting us at Catbird on the Rooftop of Hotel Weyanoke. We look forward to your next visit. Cheers!
This is the only restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. Glad that it was great food! They also deliver. Last night, we had delivery. Husband had a sub, I had salad and boneless wings. Large portions and good. Tonight, we passed by some other food options, and ordered for pick up. I had the chicken alfredo, again large portion and well seasoned. My husband opted for the Albondaza (sp) Pizza. wish i had a photo. it was the most loaded and frankly awesome looking pizza. My husband said it was the Best Pizza he had ever eaten. I wish that I hadn't been too full to sample. Bravo!

Service was excellent. Mary worked really hard. She knew their selections very well and made excellent recommendations. We were there at a busy time. The food tasted really fresh. Some interesting and tasty appetizers included fried pickles and calamari. This was our second time there and will definitely return as we have a child in school there. We had met someone traveling as a soccer ref in New Jersey who lives in the town there and had recommended it. I wish we could thank him.

Coal-fired pizza, sandwiches, big salads, coffee, craft brews and a great wine and spirits selection all located right in the lobby of Hotel Weyanoke.
Trying to be super formal in an average setting in a town that wonât support it unless itâs made from scratch, legit and marketed properly..... not the case here....My wife and I had brunch here. Two orders of chicken n biscuits. Literally a small mediocre biscuit, a tiny fried thigh and some gravy and it was over $30!! Lol!We eat out ALL the time and can ensure we will not be back here.A lot of attention is needed here trust me!We are sorry that you had an unsatisfactory experience. We have many guests that rave about our Sunday Brunch, especially the Chicken Biscuit, and look forward to it every weekend. We are always open to addressing areas needing improvement, so we thank you for taking the time to leave us this review.
