Three of us stopped by the business in the middle of the afternoon when there were few people there. The cashier was friendly and helpful in ordering. The food was not costly but it was not the greatest pizza but it was tasty and did have lots of sauce and cheese. They offer some good calzone and subs. The subs appear to be large although we did not order any. The drinks are from an open fountain so you can self serve refill as you like. The restrooms are clean. Parking is very good around the restaurant. Will return for a quick meal.
Swill like this barely deserves to be called "Pizza". From the bland toppings to the alleged crust (which more closely resembles shoe leather), this stuff is only good if it's free or if you're desperate. If you can't find pizza better than this in Upstate NY, you're simply not trying, period.
We ordered a pizza with mushrooms, olives and pepperoni-it was a LARGE pizza by the way- when we got back to the hotel and opened the box we could not believe the lack of toppings-we actually counted 6 pieces of mushroom and 8 pieces of pepperoni.Forget the olives, there weren't any. The only saving grace to the whole debacle was the blue cheese that came with the wings-they actually put pieces of garlic in it and that was good, very good. The prices are very high for the small amount of food that you get.The people behind the counter act like they don't really want to be there-with todays economy you would think that they would be grateful to have a job.
The food at Pudgies (Southside, not on College Ave.) is fantastic. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes you are warmly greeted, but if the little mean Italian owner is working, watch out! That lady is horrible, mean and provides the worst customer service I've ever seen. The prices are quite high also, but when you get a hankering for Pudgies, the price is well worth it. I think they put crack in their food as it can be so addicting.
Came here with my wife and son. It was fairly packed and only one waitress on duty. And she was on top of everything. Drinks, appetizers and food came perfectly timed. She truly is an asset to this location. Her name was Sam E. Food was awesome, will come back to this one, even though I try to avoid chains.

I visit my hometown of Elmira about once a month and without fail, I have to get a pizza from Pudgie's. The pizza is consistently excellent no matter what toppings are selected, but I recommend their veggie pizza.I always pick up the pizza at the drive up window and the staff is friendly and quick.

Three friends from Elmira go here every week. We joined them on a Wednesday night. Wine was 1/2 price on this night, so that was a bargain. My draft Bud Light was only $3.00. That was a bargain.Wife loved here Lasagna, which was reasonably priced at $10.75. My "Tonight's Special" was salmon, with a side of spaghetti. The spaghetti was delicious, but the salmon left me hanging. A rather small piece, with a hard, grainy texture. At $13.95, it was not overpriced, but just not to my liking. Everyone else had their own special favorites, which they enjoyed very much. I will stick to ordering the "popular" meals instead of the "special" meals. The waitress did a fantastic job of service along with presenting us with 4 different checks - all of them accurate.

After skipping lunch for a court appearance 3 hours from home I had to stop somewhere for a bit. Luckily I found this place. The waitress was sweet and recommended the Chicken Marsala. Well it was to die for - mopped up all the sauce with my garlic knots. Wish I had order the sauce on my side of pasta!

From the pizza to the buffet table, you will find something you like. This Cafe is not up to the standards of the Corning or Ithaca Wegman's, but isn't bad food.

The crust on the pizza at Vincenzo's was good, but all other aspects of the pizza were mediocre. Overall, I would say that the food here was edible, but truly nothing special--nothing that would inspire either of us to want to return in the future. The service was adequate, too, but definitely not friendly or welcoming. Granted, we were there during lunchtime, but the place was not busy and could have used a bit of cleaning, too.
