Last night in Andorra and we found Melting Pot. After a week of slope side burgers and steak evening meals it was great to find this place. Fantastic fresh cooking. Noodle and rice dishes light, fresh and filling. Good portions and attentive, friendly service. If we had found it sooner we would have had a meal here more than once.

On previous visits to Soldeu we had stayed Half Board, so hadn't realised the shortage of places to eat in Soldeu in the winter season. This means you have to book the half decent restaurants, which we hadn't! So we ended up in this place out of necessity, after a long day skiing! The restaurant was empty, which didn't give us a great vibe, we waited maybe 30 minutes for our starter and a further 50 minutes for our mains. They literally have no idea what they are doing! The food was variable, one out of the three of us having enjoyed our main course, the starter was bland, didn't stay for pudding! Things like asking for wine and bread 2 or 3 times, the table opposite eventually gave up and left (table of 8!) No ambience, the staff constantly 'firefighting'. Whoever invested the money in refurbishing this place, needs to have a serious think about employing professionals, at least a couple, one for the kitchen and one for the floor!Dear Customer,We regret having offered this service so far below our means,we will analyze what happened to prevent it from happening in future occasions.We hope you accept our sincere apologies for not having lived up to it.Best regards

Went for lunch after a morning of skiing. 3 course lunch for €17.50, including a soft drink and a coffee. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was also great. We would definitely recommend this place.Thank you for your visit and kind review. We hope to see you again.

I will be honest.. I have never eaten better pizza in any other place before. My partner’s lasagne? A masterpiece.. Atmosphere, like at home... If I could, I would give them Michelin star ⭐️ I promise you will not regret visiting this lovely restaurant!
