I was visiting a friend and she recommended Bocci. We were seated immediately and I loved the atmosphere and vibe. I was really excited when I saw lemoncello martinis on the menu!!! Our server, Iryna was great. She brought out warm bread with oil dipping sauce that was yummy. We ordered the Bocci Balls for an appetizer and they were delicious. We ordered the Nonnaâs pizza with pepperoni and the farmhouse gnocchi. Both were very good. I wanted to order dessert, but was too full!Thank you for the wonderful review! Next time save room for one of our homemade cheesecake specials!!

We stopped by for a quick snack and ordered a big supply of beradsticks with extra marinara sauce. Was tasty, lots of food, and enjoyable. The place was not busy.We went through the marinara sauce, for which we had paid extra, quickly. When i asked politely for a refill, he said you have to pay yet again. Huh, was a tiny plastic cup? I realize this is not a big deal, but to me this is not the friendliest place.

Pulcinella's Italian Restaurant in Durham, North Carolina, provides Southern Italian food and New York-style pizza for dine in, takeout, or catering. Our family restaurant uses the freshest ingredients to make our authentic Italian entrees such as classic
It's been a few years since we've eaten here because they started going down hill. We decided to give them another try and I'm so glad we did. Our server Harrison was great. He was funny, very attentive, and really helped us make our wine selection.I ordered the Cheese Calzone and my husband ordered the Chicken Parm and we ended up sharing our meals. Both were excellent (and one of the best calzones I've had in a long time). The bread that came with the meal was warm, soft and oh so good.My only complaint was their salads are what we call a "weed eater salad" with fresh mixed greens and I just don't like those. But with all the food in front of us I really didn't need a salad anyway. It would be nice if restaurants would also have some iceberg lettuce for people who don't like the weed eaters. It would be nice to have a choice.

This place never lets me down. You might be surprised to hear a bianche pizza recommended as the best think you can order, but nothing tops the pistachio sausage pizza here. The menu has changed a good bit over the years, with the addition of new tasty-looking pasta options and some new appetizers, but the pizzas are consistently amazing and top even those you can get at Toro - and you won't find a wait here. Do yourself a favor and check this place out ASAP.

This place reminds me of home! This is authentic NY style pizza complete with the oil that drips down. The slices are huge so you'll only need one. Randy's is great for catering too, we use them at work often. Hands down the best pizza in Durham.

Mellow out with us! We have great pizza, delicious hoagies and a huge selection of craft beer. Grab a bite and a craft beer before heading to the Bulls game or DPAC show.
A group of us had lunch and the food was good. My steak sandwich was on the money. We sat in the atrium and it was dirty, including the glass. The venue could also use a good scrubbing. All in all, just clean the place and we will return. They have a nice bar, the service was great and we enjoyed it.

The best pizza I've ever tasted. No matter if it's plain with just mozzarella and sauce, if it's the tasty lamb meatballs or if it's the special they had the other day with prosciutto, spinach and a richer cheese whose name I can't remember. Pizzas usually come out charred which is a good thing but I like to order mine "blond" so I get less char and more dough taste. Mixed salad is fresh and moscatel dressing is very special. Ricotta dumplings have corn and truffles in the sauce and it is a fresh bite of summer. Chocolate budino for desert is chocolate pudding on steroids and is delicious. Service is always attentive and friendly. It's the perfect place to go for pizza and other extraordinary tastes.
