Busy compact two room eating area - probably around 30 places. Typical Italian menu. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat even at 7 on a Thursday evening. Continuing my personal quest to find the best Minestrone soup, I had the Minestrone soup. Although the best I've had in Germany so far, still no beans/pasta, still it was good. I had the veal for a main course; this was very good. House rioja not brilliant. The service was a bit patchy even though the place had emptied out. All in all an OK place to eat.

Small family get-together - for a birthday treat, Saturday evening 6pm place was empty, table for four of course not a problem. Over the last years we've been there a few times, sometimes with up to 12 persons. To toast the brother-in-law's birthday we started off with four glasses of Champagne. Two of us ordered ' Bistecca ai Porcini ' - Argentinian rumpsteak with a mushroom sauce , small roast potatoes and a side salad, Penne al Forno and one Tagliatelle ai Porcini - cocktail tomatoes with garlic and mushrooms. While we were waiting we ordered a round of wheat beers. By 7pm the place was three quarters full. Our food arrived after about 30mins, was certainly worth waiting for, the steaks were done medium to well done and so tasty and the roast potatoes flavoured with thyme - a treat!. The other two pasta dishes were both well seasoned and large enough that there was the chance of taking two ' doggie bags ' home. The evening was very relaxing , staff pleasant and friendly and the quality food great value for money. It won't be our last visit.

Visited several times since autumn 2016. Both service and food have always been great. I had pasta dishes on all visits, which were freshly prepared and tasted delicious. A nice feature: pizzas are available in three different sizes, and most pasta dishes come as small and large plates. The landlord occasionally walks around the tables to welcome guests with a friendly smile on his face. After dinner I was always offered a free Grappa. If you like authentic Italian food, you will not go wrong in this place.

Our waitress was awesome, so friendly and good with our young kids. The entire team is Italian which gives it a very authentic feel. We sat on the veranda overlooking the street. The beer was cold and the service was efficient. Our boys enjoyed the margarita pizza and the spaghetti carbonara. The adults enjoyed the ox liver, salmon pasta, and the arrabiata. Ice cream for dessert was good too. A lovely lunch.Thank you very much
I have been here a couple of times and the food was pretty good and customer service ace.You also get a complimentary limoncello or other digestive after your meal.On my last visit, my regular waiter was not present the the food presentation and quality amiss. I have not been back since but prior to that experience, I would have recommended it highly.
Quaint friendly restaurant in the heart of Dreieich. We used to go here twice per week every week while we were deployed to Frankfurt Air Force Base. The pizza is authentic Italian and the lasagna is to die for. But be careful it's very hot!! Miss this place.

First time visit to 'Romana' with my brother-in-law , Tues evening and we were asked if we'd made a reservation! It was just before 7pm the place was pretty empty but a few tables were already reserved inside and also out on the terrace, we had no problem getting a table for two. A friendly waiter took our drinks order and shortly afterwards our dinner order e.g. 2 x rump steak with roasted sliced potatoes with a side salad. The steaks were done to a treat, I found out from the ' head waiter ' that the chef gets his meat from South Africa. Dessert was a portion of traditional Tiramisu with two scoops of vanilla ice - very tasty. The Italian speaking waiters were all very polite and friendly , service without any stress, comfortable atmosphere, certainly worth a second visit in the near future.

The service is great, the food is lacking in originality and quality. Basically Italian and German food.

Which is fantastic for a small German town.Good Italian food served quickly and at a modest price.I had the River Tagliata, which is cuts of thinly sliced beef served on an extremely hot iron skillet, with rocket salad and Parmesan added on for good measure.Never, ever, had Tagliata before. Not bad, but would probably go for a different dish next time.Expect to pay around 16 to 20 euros for a main course.
