Stopped at this pizza place for lunch on the way to the beach. Doesn't look like much from the outside but we had great pizza. The shrimp combo something specialty pizza was awesome. I would go back the next time we came through. So happy we found this little gem

Ordered takeout pizza - very tasty cooked just right. Nice location - parking on street and in a municipal lot nearby. Picked up a menu and takeout form and looks like they have a good variety of Italian dishes. Will be back

The former site of the River Restaurant made it hard for us to stop and try the new business there, The moment we stepped inside, the flood of memories came back. The floor plan is similar, except the booths are gone. The bars has been moved opposite from it's previous location. Once you got over the changes, you realize this is a great place to enjoy some drinks, and dine on some great food. Jay was our server and made you feel right at home. Wife had chicken parmesan, and I had chicken marsala. The portions are much more than generous, so expect to take much of it home. Both dishes were excellent and we can't wait to go back and try some other selections. We definitely will return.......and soon. Feels like home again!

We had been traveling in heavy traffic, and googled for eats off the highwayâItalian sounded great, so we were lead here.Overall, it seemed like a quaint area go-to place, a little like a well-kept local secret. The ample parking lot lead to the main entrance which had seating outside if we wished. Once inside, the main room ahead had a large bar with seats surrounding. We were warmly welcomed and led to the dining room in back. As advertised, the cuisine was Italian with starters, soups, sandwiches, pizzas, pasta dishes and more ample meat entrees â overall, the variety was decent with a varied selection to choose from. Not terribly familiar with the area, I would say that the prices seemed a little high on the pasta dishes and the larger/main entrées â â they did come with a small side salad however the pastas ranged $15-$17 for an average sized plate. The steak or larger meat dishes ranged from $25-$30 a plate, which again seemed a little high for what would appear to be a very casual neighborhood place. We started with cheesy garlic bread which was very tasty. The mains followed; I chose the pesto pasta (I picked linguine)With grilled chicken â â unfortunately, the basil was a little bitter and the chicken without flavor. I recognized the fact that it was obviously homemade, however the taste just didnât do it for me. My daughter had the penne alla vodka which was acceptable, a little too heavy on the tomato versus the cream but she ate it. My son ate almost all of his penne carbonara â â he had asked for no peas or onions, which obviously would have tainted the dish, however these were added despite his request. He easily picked them out and enjoyed what was left. Our waitress Tracy deserves special mentionâShe was extremely friendly and helpful, brought the dishes out with the smile and genuinely seem disappointed that I hadnât enjoyed my meal. She first offered something else in its stead, however I didnât really need anything else at that point. When she presented the bill, she pointed out that she had removed the charge for my dish and was sincerely apologetic. The place was busy with lots of parties celebrating occasions, so perhaps they were just a little off. Iâd give it another try just for itâs relaxing air and itâs friendly vibe

My elderly Mom wanted a "nice bowl of spaghetti with sauce" so I checked Trip Advisor and found this nice restaurant. It was around 5:15 pm on a Saturday, we were greeted by the wonderful hostess Grace and seated right away. Open space with high ceilings and lots of famous Hollywood stars framed photos all around. Clean and comfortable with booths or tables. Our server Sue was very pleasant and efficient. Took our orders and brought over a bread basket with crusty Italian and wonderful garlic twist rolls. Our salads were crisp and fresh and the meals were giant! Mom's spaghetti bowl with marinara fed her for 3 more days. As did my eggplant parm which was also giagantic 9 x 5! It was 6 layers of lightly breaded eggplant topped with cheese and that wonderful marinara and capellini. SO delish! We were too full for dessert, but took home two cannoli's that were fabulous!A definite restaurant to go to with family & friends. They have a extensive menu, wine/beer/cocktail list and plenty of parking. By the time we left the restaurant was packed! Best of all, my Mom loved it!

The Hops Company is Connecticutâs only destination for an authentic beer garden experience. Offering over 36 draft beers, a full bar, and great food options from Zuppardi's Pizza to Snak that are served up in a traditional European beer garden setting wit
This is in the middle of nowhere in Derby in a mostly residential neighborhood, but it's a big space. They have a big indoor area with picnic tables and an outdoor area with a waterfall and outdoor party games. The beer selection is why to go, they usually have 35-40 beers on tap from all across the world. You'll definitely find something you like. They are not a brewery, so don't here looking for beer brewed onsite. Prices are very reasonable, in the $6-8 range depending on beer.Foodwise, it's a mixed bag. They have bar snacks like nachos and pizza, and for the summer they have cold things (Italian ice for example). The biggest problem is the food is very very very expensive for what you get. For example, my wife and I had a half order of BBQ chicken nachos..it was $18. Pizza is equally high priced. It's pretty good bar food, not restaurant quality but good enough. The biggest issue is price. Overall, THC is DEFINITELY worth visiting if you're in the area, just be prepared to open the wallet a bit if you're hungry.

Went here with my boyfriend on Valentineâs Day, of all days, and there was a considerable wait, but I cannot determine if that is the norm, since it was a dining-out holiday. We were seated at a reasonable waiting time, and our waitress was Roseland Hall of Fame waitress, as her picture was hanging on the walls around us, and she was wonderful. We went for the full-on seafood pizza, and man alive, it did not disappoint. The seafood on the pizza was premier - lovely plump pieces of lobster and shrimp, red sauce, and a great crust. The atmosphere was very friendly and homey, and I witnessed 3 different tables interacting with one another, seemingly not knowing each other, and sharing good since the portions were huge. Thatâs the kind of thing that lets me know a place is as friendly as you would imagine, as a local or visitor. It was a pleasure visiting, and I look forward to returning to try their other signature dishes and pizzas.
