Very much a locals place, we've always loved to sit at the bar and here, we have never had the opportunity. Its always full. They have a few tvs for watching sports and a full food menu, but most go here for the pizza. Our server was pretty nice and did a good job as we came in on a Monday night towards the end of service. Pizza was on point and my wife is still talking about how good it is the next day.

Gencarelli's has a nice atmosphere. I've organized a few youth sports team parties here in the past. The dining room is comfortable and they have a separate area near the pizza ovens with a few tables for take-out or less formal eat-in. Normally when I'm here, I'm grabbing a slice, sitting up front and eating it. It's a decent basic Italian restaurant. Give it a try.

Or even staying and eating there has always been an enjoyable experience. They have the cheapest trays around to order. Chicken parm has always been good. The sausage and peppers was weak. Itâs a local watering hole with lots of tvâs. To watch the games.

What can I say? The competition is fierce in Denville in the pizza market. Mancino's is good! Love the Arugula salad and pizza. I go here almost 1 every 2 weeks. Sandwiches are also very good. I have yet to be disappointed. And prices are nice! Enjoy!!!

Had dinner here on a Sunday night just looking for a âcheapâ pizza joint. It is a pizza p,ace with some tables (very limited) but WOW, loved the food. Waitress wasnât old enough to open our wine but she was so pleasant and helpful asking us if we were interested in suggestions which of course we always are. Chef more than willing to cook to order. Menu was very large and entrees included pasta and salad, very fairly priced and very generous portions. My chicken piccata was so lemony and was served with spaghetti with plenty of capers. It was delicious. Hubs veal Torrente was one of the best heâs had and he is a picky veal eater. So happy to have tried this place. In good weather there is outdoor eating although tables donât seem conducive for just two, more like groups of 4 or more. A few tables for two though. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. A comfy place with friendly service and great food.

Came here with another couple. This is a chain of restaurants serving Italian fare. Service is excellent. Bread is served complimentary, most entrees are served with either a choice of salad or pasta. What I didn't like is that if you pick the salad, than your entree just comes alone. Is it so expensive not to include pasta as well? Besides this, the service is great, food is very tasty and portions are large. Parking is free via the strip mall that it is part of.

Even though it's called the house of pizza, their northern Italian style food is extremely good- tasty, well prepared, large portions are the feature for us. They also serve excellent salads of all kinds. My wife is a fan of the chicken Milanese. As this is a BYOB, prices tend towards moderate. Service is quite good making for a wonderful dining experience.

I've been here about 3 times. Each time it's nothing but the best food. This is old Italian. Something your nonna would whip up in the kitchen. If you're looking for good lasagna, or eggplant, or bolognese, you've got to try this place. Not only are the portions so large that you can get 2 or 3 meals out of it, The meals are just so good. You usually get a soup or salad with your meal. It's also a BYOB so you're know you're going to get good wine. I just don't want everybody to really know about it because it gets pretty crowded by the locals as it is, But then again I don't want to go out of business cause I have never had such great food like this. Think about making a reservation if you want to eat on a Friday or Saturday.

Ah'Pizz was a decent pizza establishment in Denville. They served NJ wines only, which sounds state-patriotic at first, but anyone who drinks wine and lives in NJ knows better than to drink our wine if given a choice. The Denville Ah'Pizz location is now closed, and cites high rent as the culprit. A variable no doubt, but average pizza for above average prices doesn't fly in this town. I believe their other location is open and thriving. Buona fortuna, Ah' Pizz. You are good people and gave great service.
