I'm not one to eat non-traditional cuisine while on travel so having Italian food in the Middle East was a stretch for me. However, the food at Il Terrazzo was really good! We ordered salads and pasta dishes with seafood and meat. The pasta is made on-site. Service was very good and timely. Ask to sit at a table outside so that you can enjoy the sunset. Later in the evening there is music; it can get kind of loud but everyone is having a great time. If you are staying at the Marriott and are trying to figure out where to eat on-site, pick this! The main restaurant on-site isn't anywhere near as nice.

After a long journey we were hungry. Luigi's looked and sounded promising from the hotel's blurb, but was extremely disappointing: the pasta in the goat's cheese ravioli was thick and rubbery and the pizza overcooked and made from the wrong type of flour. Knowing the Italians' pride in their cooking I am convinced no Italian was involved in this kitchen. Certainly not what you'd expect in a first class hotel. Our local Italian here in rural Devon produces far better food at a fraction of the price.

Abbey Road Restaurant in Madaba is an old house from the late 1800s thatâs been renovated but has retained its original charm & has an outdoor terrace & pizza oven. Our menu has traditional Arabic BBQ & appetizers but also modern takes on some traditional
Quite hidden, opposite the John the Baptist Church, slightly down the hill. Pizza was really very good and they also serve their local beer - Carakale, from the tap. They also have some other food, beside pizza.
