We have been to this fantastic restaurant on several occasions and would thoroughly recommend it for anyone to go there. The food is freshly cooked and plenty of it. The staff are very friendly and make you very welcome. Over the years there have been several changes so please go there to keep this excellent restaurant going as we feel it is the best one we have ever been to.

Wow! The food in this restaurant is DELICIOUS! Everything is homemade with fresh, quality ingredients.I visited with 2 girlfriends on the evening of Friday 27 Sept. We had heard good things from another friend who had visited and really enjoyed their meal.What a choice! there was so many dishes to choose from, typical Italian pasta and pizzas to fresh fish specials, chicken and steak offerings.I had scallops wrapped in bacon with rocket - perfectly cooked and really tasty. My spaghetti bolognese was great - authentic, homemade sauce, not your bog-standard chain-restaurant type. My panna cotta dessert was huge - with a tarte fruit compote on the top - really lovely!We received a very warm welcome, all the waiting staff were friendly and chatty and had a few jokes with us. They are a family-run business, a husband and wife team and even the waiter is a family friend of 25 years.Both my friends loved what they had to eat too - and it was very reasonably priced. We were kindly treated to 3 Limoncello liqueurs on the house.I have already booked my next table here in October. Thank you II Vesuvio, from Mollie, Nicki and Sue. xx
