folks recommended La Stellas to us and we went several times. The wood oven baked pizza was the best. It may be called just Stellas...that was on the menu
The only thing that is worth trying is the beef pizza, it's cheesy and delicious. The curry and spaghetti are amateur made foods with low budget ingredients and with either too many spices or hardly much. The seating is nice and the atmosphere is peaceful. There are also a lot of magazines to keep you company.
The Tree is Dali's first up-scale Italian, Western, and Chinese restaurant and bar. We are dedicated to serving REAL, home made from scratch food at a reasonable price in a clean and comfortable environment. Stop by for a meal, drink, or free advice from

We opened The Backyard restaurant with the first thing in mind, serve real western food. We carefully sourced our ingredients to give you the best quality/price possible. We specialize in grilled meats but also offer hand tossed pizzas, spaghetti with hom
Wood fired pizza, home smoked ribs and quality imported steaks have all been enjoyed during multiple visits to this charming western run restaurant tucked away in a quiet side street. Totally recommended!

I went for the Saturday night buffet at La Dolce Vita, which at RMB68 was very good value. A great selection of salads, pasta, pizza and desserts. The quality of ingredients and food was excellent. A very nice garden setting, perfect for warm weather. Friendly English-speaking staff and good service. Highly recommended.

We did read about this place and we landed here ,The greek pizza is really great , a nice thin crust ,the right amount of ingredients and we enjoyed a good meal. The kids had a good time , they have a rock climbing mini wall which is a great idea and keeps the kids busy and adds a lil fun to the trip. The pastas are average but you will enjoy the pizzas.

Welcome to Bad Monkey, Bad Monkey is Dali's longest running foreign owned bar (open since 2003) Located in the heart of Dali Old Town, Yunnan, southwest China but set away from the jostling crowds of shoppers, Bad Monkey Brew Pub is a real gem. Bad Monkey
There are some other decent bars in Dali that I visited but these two spots, several doors apart, are the best. By some way. Good music, excellent food (their delicious pizzas are worth visiting for alone) and a superb atmosphere. They even have proper beer, over 4%! Plus, both bars are just undeniably cool places to be: the grimy decor, the staff drinking along with the guests, the genuinely talented cover bands. If you're in Dali for a while, this could well become your second home.
Where to eat Asian food in Dali: The Best Restaurants and Bars

This cafe is owned by Belgian expat Ruben and his local wife. It has a wide offering of Belgian beers and international food: pizza, falafel pita, panini sandwiches, burgers, Belgian waffles and more. Pretty much everything is handmade from high quality i
We went to this place to get something else then Asian food. We ordered some burgers (menu) and Belgian beers. The burgers menu was disappointing and the burger itself was very thin like you expect in McD. The owner had hardly any time for us guest and was enjoying outside on the terrace. There are only 2 tables inside and the rest you need to sit in âthe gardenâ, whatever he calls the public green zone. Overall average.

Blue Gecko is now open 6 days a week! Come enjoy sitting in our garden and try our fabulous wood-fired pizza, chilled Australian steak and much more.
I loved my food at Blue Gecko. I had an Italian panini, but we went there because the reviews said Mexican food. No bueno, the menu has a bunch of stuff crossed off. Mexican food is no longer served. As were a lot of other offerings. The owner told us she is changing the menu, because some things are difficult to get and expensive to make.Since moving to China, we miss Mexican food. So, even though the food was good, it was a let down. And, even though we were the only ones eating, it took a fairly long time to get our food. But, the service was very friendly and accommodating.Hi There,Sorry for the disappointment! Just a note to say, due to popular demand, we have added quesadillas and enchiladas back to the menu. If you're back in Dali, please give us another chance and we'll give you a free Mexican meal!Tracy
