I donât think I have had this bad of a pasta since eating at the canteen when doing military service some thirty years ago. Mushy and tasteless. The restaurant has in addition zero ambiance, felt like eating in that canteen mentioned above. The saving grace are the waitresses who are alert, friendly and service minded, waste of talent having them serve this kind of garbage.

Ordered pizza went to ring address by the time we got our pizza they were cold. The order was wrong the driver told us not his problem ring the shop, who wouldn't answer phone.Rang the next day and was told after quite a lengthy discussion the would deliver what we were missing on the afternoon. When I rang at tea time for estimated delivery time I was hang up on.

Hotel is Phillip Island's premier Bar, with great food, amazing cocktails and even better music!Eat, drink and enjoy the atmosphere of our street-side licensed areas or the intimacy of our courtyard and deck.Pizza at Hotel is the place to go for tradition
Looking for a good feed in Cowes, we tried Hotel. We were shown a nice window spot with great sea views. Ordered calamari, and a steak. Bothe of these meals were perfectly cooked and very tasty. Had chips and vegies as extras. The service was excellent. Had our meals in about 15mins. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Prices for meals and drinks very reasonable. Weâll not hesitate to eat there again next time in Cowes. Highly recommended!!!

I forgot to take photos during the evening because it was such a good meal. Came with a friend who had the parma which she said was delicious. Good portion size and tasty chips. I had the ribs because I'm quite the carnivore and found them to be soooo tasty. Very good. To top it off, we had a lemon meringue pie - one of my mum's favourite creations. We shared this and the staff were happy to give us two spoons and plates to share. Overall it was a good night and have to praise the staff for the attention to detail. Centrally located in Cowes, it's well worth a visit. Prices are pretty good and not over inflated considering it's a tourist area. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/Stroller accessible. Good parking but do watch the time limits as the parking inspectors are vigilant. Lots of other places to eat nearby.

Fig & Olive at Cowes is a popular, friendly restaurant delivering high quality service and a wide variety of food ranging from Wood-Fired Oven Pizzas, Steak, Seafood & Much more. We are open for Lunch, Dinner & Dessert Monday through to Saturday. During t
The restaurant offers a âsteak & wineâ midweek special which includes a glass of wine from the menu. The Porterhouse steak was quite large and served with a good selection of veg, and choice of sauces. Unfortunately it would seem the chef made a ârookie mistakeâ and the steak was taken from the fridge to the grill, and my medium rare steak was quite rare. My wifeâs âwell doneâ was medium rare. Classic rookie error... that said it was tender, and the accompanying sauces were ok.Waiter service just ok, certainly not attentive, and at no stage did anyone ask if the food was ok. No offer of a desert menu, or if we would like coffee or even another glass of wine!Excellent selection of wine on the âmenuâ included, to choose from. The St Hallets Pinot was very good.On departure the bill was presented and we paid and left! Weâre we asked about the food? Nope sadly.Nice setting in the dining area, and we were seated beside the wood fired pizza oven - an ok location with noise from the pizza makers but there were other nicer seats. The restaurant is quite noisy, and selection of music loud also. It was not a busy night, so I would have thought they should be able to get it right.Weâre unlikely to return. While the âofferâ was enticing the delivery did not measure up sadly.

The pizza ordered came to the table before all other meals. We were finished eating the pizza before other meals arrived. Next 2 more meals arrived, then 10 min later the last meal arrived. They are not very happy with any changes to the menu. We asked to have one ingredient removed from 1/2 a pizza and were told they don't do 1/2 pizzas. They did agree to do it after we pointed out that it was the same pizza just a removal of one ingredient. The pizza was tasty and other meals ok.

Established in 1991 family run restaurant with the love of good food and service, with big open spaces, different levels for enjoying Traditional Italian Cuisine. Great for small large family groups.
People visiting the Island are spoilt for choice when it comes to pizza and Italian food. Pinos is up there in terms of quality and taste and out rates many others on the island. Pizzas are very good, good choice of pasta and kids options. Recent renovations make this a great restaurant and service was efficient as you would expect.Wow, what a generous review, thank you and we are happy to read that you like our renovations, we are looking forward to seeing in action over the summer months!
