Afternoon visit in April, just after the area reopened for the season. Quite quiet in early April I expect it will get more lively as the month progresses. Cafe was fine, price was reasonable, quality reasonable without being outstanding.2272oos
A cafe we often visit when out cycling, mainly. No frills, just basic food. A generously portioned sandwich at a fair price makes good fair. Just a good local cafe.

We celebrated my birthday here with some friends and had a lovely meal. The presentation was surprisingly good and the individual quality very good.We had 2 x avocado and prawn salads, 1 seafood and 1 Greek salad. (the Greek salad was not great).Mains were a rare rib eye for me with shallot sauce, a beef and duck brochette, a duck breast (that was particularly good) and Spaghetti Carbonara. All were nicely cooked. With sparkling wine (Salaza Crement), a bottle of simple Chardonnay and a bottle of local red the whole bill including coffees and desserts was 168 â¬. Good value and very friendly service from the gentleman serving.

Jean Michel makes superb pizza, as good as the best pizza in Napoli, Italy. Moreover he has a Lebanese oregano (zaatar) pizza called "Manaeesh" that compares with the best manaeesh I have eaten in Lebanon. Jean Michel and his wife, Antoinette, are also fantastic hosts, warm and hospitable. Eating at their establishment was an absolute delight!
