Bardellis has been serving Italian styled food since 1992 in the suburbs. The pizzas are described by many locals as the best in the Cape and the restaurant has been awarded best pizza on two occasions by public voting. Its common to hear world travelers r
Bardellis is our local and favorite restaurant in Harfield Village. The atmosphere is so cosy and the staff are amazing. I have lost count of how many times I have been to Bardelli's and really recommend anyone to try it. They have the best pizzas and offer banting and gluten free pizzas made with cauliflower. They also have pizzas which allows a mix of 4 different pizzas.

PRIMI Cavendish will satisfy you biggest cravings for pizza, pasta and more. Come enjoy passionate service and good food in generous portions.
Since 2002 I have been searching for a restaurant that could meet my standard of a hollandaise sauce. Even so called gourmet restaurants used the factory produced snot! Today my waiter, Lee, informed me that the sauce is freshly made in the kitchen. So I dared to order the dish in the hope that I would be happy......I was not happy ....... I WAS ECSTATIC!!!!!! I jumped up after my first taste and demanded to speak to the staff member that prepared the sauce. The Ladies name was Zintle. She looked like a dear trapped in headlights as i looked at her through the window into the kitchen. The smile on her face as i complimented her work was priceless. The service from Lee further complimented the meal perfectly. I will be back for more.

We loved these guys. Brilliant array of pizzas on the menu, great pasta options too. Three times in six nights, we wandered up the street to a comfortably full restaurant. They had Aussie connections, which made for great banter between chefs and customers (us). Try the variety of bears on offer too.

Botanicum Cafe & Grill is an all-day eatery. Dishes include salads, Neapolitan style pizzas, grills made in our Spanish made PIRA charcoal oven & other signature dishes created by head Chef, Jayson Wicomb.
Botanicum was not a good experience. I was surprised and not impressed when I ordered a glass of Rose and got what looked like a half glass for over R50.My salad then was tasty but the browning leaves that I found were off putting. The waiter did not respond when I pointed this out. Overall expensive and unimpressive.Hi Thandie,Firstly I apologise for my delayed response. I am so sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your experience with us! I really appreciate you taking the time to offer us feedback. If you wouldn't mind please can you send me an email ([email protected]) with your contact details, as I'd like the opportunity to discuss it further.Regards,Marc

The Landmark The Clubhouse is situated in the heart of Constantia providing friendly family romantic environment with excellent service and legendary Cuisines and Daily Specials. The atmosphere is set with an indoor Fire Place while having a glass of wine
WE had christmas dinner there. I already felt it was over-priced but wanted a good family time - which turned out to be a nightmare. Food was late, queue went out the door for the buffet, then items ran out so main-meal items we had seen advertised were finished. Food was cold. We didn't eat together due to arriving back at different times. Desert experience was worse because guests now rushing to grab. I was given a tiny helping because waiter realised he couldn't serve all. Absolutely horrific, over-priced experience. Restaurant gave a voucher but this is useless for our visiting guests and we don't really want to go back. Kitchen seems to small as I've waited there before. I was looking for a place for wedding anniversary but definitely won't. We phoned in advance for vegetarian but had not prepared - so basically kid's meal + leftover salads

I have been going to Basilico for a while and it is really a lovely pizza place with plenty of seating and a good lunch special (significantly reduced price for 2 topping pizzas). Their pizza is thin and crispy, with plenty of quality toppings. Unfortunately I cannot recommend their pasta as they are just okay, nothing to write home about. Service is very inconsistent, very much waiter dependent. Sometimes itâs okay, other times the waiters are abrupt.

Attentive staff, well prepared food, fresh and well made. We had a lovely lunch here with a bottle of wine. Enjoyed a lot. Pizza and a pasta dish me and my friend shared, was perfect. Didn't feel like it was a cafe.

PRIMI Constantia will satisfy your biggest cravings for pizza, pasta and more. Come enjoy passionate service and good food in generous portions.
We visited the other evening with our son, daughter and granddaughter. The waiter was very good and the food was served quickly and was tasty. What is great here is that they have a spot where little ones can make biscuits with dough and they bake them. The little ones love receiving their cookies. They also have a lady that paints their faces and this is great fun for all!! A very pleasant event as it is really child friendly!

Voted BEST PIZZA IN AFRICA by 50TopPizza. Open every day of the week for lunch & dinner. We make amazing pizza plus daily specials, using only the best, mainly locally sourced ingredients, and the owners are always present to ensure quality & consistency.
The pizza was good. I like a thin base. But is it better or the best in Cape Town? I doubt it. They benefitted from good publicity and I imagine many of the five star reviews are influenced by that. If you go, enjoy the pizza but keep off the starters or what they call Italian tapas because they are very unItalian and are characterised by heavy coverings of melted tasteless cheese. I notice the owner specialises in aggressive emotional responses to any review he doesn't like. That is not a good look so let me me remind him that pride comes before the fall and he should just accept good faith reviews whether they are good, bad or just average.Hi Yendy, thanks for your review. We have actually been voted Best Pizzeria in Africa, but i guess it is question of personal preference.I just want to clarify that out of 20 spuntini starters, only 3 are 'covered with melted cheese':- the melanzane parmigiana, - the Bomba: (morsel of artisan chorizo, soft focaccia, roasted garlic & mozzarella)- the Furia: oven baked caciocavallo cheese with oregano. A cheese lover's dreamin all of them we use proper artisan cheeses made by Puglia cheese in Cape TownWe have been operating since 2009 and have been appreciated long before this award was bestowed upon us.

Only bug-bear is that happy hour is merely R10 off, rather than there being particularly worthwhile specials; restaurant gets busier after happy hour ends though. Service was excellent - prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was enjoyable. I've had better pizza, but the food was still tasty and well priced. Though I didn't drink during my latest visit, I was impressed by the breadth and diversity of their craft beer selection.
