Since its opening, I have visited "Il birrificio di Varese" quite often. Delicious pizzas and a great selection of beers! The patio is lovely and very suitable for dining during spring and summer and having a drink with friends. The desserts are are great. I have tried the fruit tart prepared for a friend's birthday party and it was on the best I have ever had in my entire life!

I only tried the ice cream, coffee and a cocktails consumed quickly, so I don't talk about the chapter "restaurant". The place is nice, modern, new, shiny, but the rest?The parking available is too small (about five car plus employees' cars. It should need 50 cars slots) and if you park on the main street you risk heavy fines. The restaurant is often quite full (it's in promotion with Goupon Coupons), to drink a stand up coffee or an ice cream cone is a business, I waited for a time for a quick dinner, to pay, impaled in front of the cashier station. Qualitatively ice cream, neither the coffee nor the cocktails were at the height of the image that they attached to it. I mean that in Gavirate there are better coffees than this, better ice creams than this and better cocktails than this. Perhaps the dinner worth it, but unfortunately, being vegetarian, I'm afraid there are no solutions for me. Definitly, it's not a place for me. I'll forget it!

Felice intuizione.A pranzo in esterno scelto una mozzarella di mondragone + prosciutto crudo diviso diviso in due, poi due tagliate di patanegra con patate, vino 1/4 acque per euro 25,00 a testa.Focaccia e pane di produzione propria.Qualità ottima, servizio gentile e veloce.Sorriso dispensato alla grande.Da riprovare.Bravi

Torniamo a cena alla Cavour, dopo il buonissimo Risotto al Castelmagno della scorsa volta questa volta un appetitoso gnocco fritto con salumi, seguito da dei meravigliosi Paccheri con tonno, pomodorini , patate e olive, fino ad arrivare ad un gran fritto misto con verdurine, accompagnato da un bianco delizioso. Per finire uno strudel e un aromatico caffè ben ristretto. Servizio attento e accurato, locale senza fronzoli ma accogliente. OTTIMA CENA !!

We were on our way to the usual place where a 9,50 lunch is served (OK food, not too bad place despite the bad reviews mainly because of the service that I would avoid it on weekends!) when we saw this one on the same road... why not give a try here? The restaurant located on the second floor of an old apartments building, once in, I was a little shocked about the sudden change; outside, old world (some hanged clothes with an old lady sitting in the balcony) and inside new, renovated like any other restaurant with a nice atmosphere... everywhere was spotless clean (in and out). There were already some guests; couples, blue and white collar groups... This is a good sign...We had their day menu, everything well presented and delicious, a bit oily the âpizzocheriâ... We ordered a pizza too and it was very good. Also noticed that they prepare pizzas for coeliacs... Bill was 42,00 (2 day menus of 2 courses each, 1 pizza, desserts, drinks, cover charges, coffee and spirit) I would say, not bad... service was good and professional.Definitely my new place for a lunch or pizza evening without being served snootily or be treated like a dog...

We came here on the last night of our trip, and had an incredible meal sitting outside at Linea Ottantotto. The hosts are friendly and make you feel like family, and the outdoor lighting and patio make for a great ambiance. The ingredients were fresh and tasty (had Burrata with prosciutto and Pizza), and the pizza was the best we had in Italy.I would recommend this place to anyone coming through Varese and hope to be back.

The food was OKish. Service was satisfactory. Not feeling like we wanted to stay. Value for money: a bit on the high side. Could benefit from a complete makeover. The atmosphere was somewhere between Shanghai Express and Mama Lucia.

Food is not bad but within (or slightly below) the surroundings average. This is the third time that we come alone or with friends and the service is always slow. Today alone (Monday, half tables empty), it's been 50 minutes (still) waiting for seabass and a pizza. No excuse or explanation given so far. This is the last time I come to this place.So, in summary, you will like the place if you enjoy waiting for your dishes while talking to friends...Javier
