Nulla da dire, la pizza di Gaetano è quella classica, io adoro il calzone fritto classico...Il forno a legna e la pasta lievitata a lungo , permettono alla semplicità e creatività napoletana di esprimersi a costi ridotti.

It's not off the beaten path, you will drive by Jamaica many times if you are in the Chianciano Terme / Sarteano area. We went went friends based on the recommendation of their gardener. Really, this is a "locals only" place - absolutely no tourists - they're all at the the popular tourists stops. They are known for their pizza - very thin crust with a wide variety of toppings. The rest of the menu is traditional and rates good to very good. Be forewarned, the pizza is a personal size, but you will probably only manage half of it. So either share it or "porta via" for leftovers. We will be back.
Impasto tipicamente napoletano, buona selezione delle materie prime. Sui fritti si può osare di più. Nel complesso un ottimo prodotto. Garbato il servizio. Prezzi in linea con la qualità offerta.

a supreme selection of European beers. The menu explains their tastes and characters. We dined on a huge platter of assorted meats and cheeses after the movies one night. Nice!

We ate there on a Thursday when all pizza's are just 4 euros each and much to our delight they are crispy thin, very tasty and full sized. The table charge was a mere 50c each a medium beer (very nice too) was 4 euros and a glass of wine 2.50. We also treated ourselves to onion rings with a smokey spicy sauce and fried mozzarella sticks with a mayo dip. For the more adventurous ( and a large group) there is the biggest sausage with chips and dips on offer to share. There was a good mix of young and young at heart dinning there and we suggest book a table if you go in the summer or weekends as its proving very popular. This a recent addition to the hotel Rosati, opposite the A1 connection at Chiusi, alongside the traditional restaurant Nonna Rosa. The owners are passionate about cars, radios and vespas and these are found within and around the premises. The staff and owners are very amenable and helpful and if in the area well worth a visit.

We ate two meals recently at Il Bucchero and each was terrific! The pasta, a local favorite called Umbrichelli, was homemade and delicious. Antipasti was excellent and the house red wine was a great tasting wine as well as an excellent value. Service was delightful and we were happy to meet two brothers who were here each time we visited as well as the other servers who were truly wonderful and happy gentlemen!

Friends we were traveling with were familiar with this restaurant. We had just arrived in Chiusi by train from Rome, and it was a quick walk here. It wasn't quite time for the restaurant to open for lunch, but the owners were very welcoming to our group of 6. We had a very nice and relaxing lunch on the patio. It was a wonderful introduction to our time in Tuscany!

We spend part of every summer in Tuscany; without variation, our first evening finds us dining at Osteria Etrusca, a delightful family-run business on the main via in this charming village, complete with its own Etruscan museo. We return often - the food is excellent, cooked by the lovely daughter Stephania, the ambiance is serene presided over by the gentle owner Enrico, and the wine superb. After a frenetic day at the Uffizi or other Tuscan gem, we make a path to this delightful Osteria at the end of the day. Try the pici pasta and the wonderful pizzas. Or even better, the sliced beef with arugula and Parmesan.

We've come to the Trattoria Porsenna for 15 years or more. It's located a 15-second walk from the Chiusi train station and from the Hertz and Europcar car rental offices. It's mainly a place for railroad employees and officials. Very friendly and incredibly efficient waitstaff, who remembered us after an at least 2-year absence. Rapid service, even when full, which is almost always. Practically no tourists as customers, though they are welcome. Local pasta specialties, as well as game dishes. We had bresaola/rughetta/parmigiano as starter, followed by pappardelle with wild boar sauce, followed by profiteroles, accompanied by a liter of bottled water. Hearty portions. Nineteen euros. We love this place.
