This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. Reservations are recommended, and we were seated promptly upon our arrival. This is a busy place on a Friday night, energetic atmosphere, with families and couples of all ages. We had the Burrata special and grilled vegetables, and the pulpo as our appetizers. All delicious, but the Burrata was amazing, soft and creamy and a nice sized portion. Seemed most people ordered one pizza per person but since we had 3 apps, we ordered 3 pizzas for the 4 of us which was plenty. We had the Funghi, the Diavola, Prosciutto e Rucola. All delicious and cooked perfectly. Our service wa very good as well. When we were leaving they offered us mini homemade cannoli on the way out! YUMMY!! Highly recommend you give Spacca a try.

It was my first time so I was unsure of how this place. I immediately noticed it was complete choas with people everywhere. It's shopping mixed with drinking and food. So you're eating a meal while people are walking all around you. Pasta was good but I felt it was over priced for the portion I received and the service was slow. Personally, I won't go back.

Admittedly, Chicago has an abundance of excellent Italian restaurants. But Mia Francesca distinguishes itself from a very crowded field. My wife and I enjoyed a delightful meal there on August 1st. White tablecloths in the dining room. More casual dining on the outdoor patio. Both had one thing in common: tasty Italian food.We started with crispy calamari, followed by a creamy burrata salad. Delightful. My wife loved her linguine with a chilled tomato sauce. I was thrilled with my shell shaped pasta with ham, peas and wild mushrooms. Some of the best pasta Iâve ever enjoyed.Throw in an extensive wine list and attentive service from Antobelli, and it was a meal to remember.

I had the prosciutto and mozzerella salad, the chicken parm sandwich and the tiramisu. Everything was amazing and the server was friendly. I'm actually sad I don't live here so I can't have this often.
