We arrived in this lovely town to find many of the businesses closed!! Thankfully we found this pizzeria open and were welcomed and enjoyed great pizzas. Staff were helpful and spoke reasonable English! Charming courtyard out the back but sadly no wifi

Oltre un'ora di attesa x 3 pizze crude ma bruciate e amare e quella con un pizzico di peperoncino ordinata da nostro figlio di 10 anni immangiabile e piccantissima.Mi dispiace ma grande delusione.......

Ormai siamo degli habitué del locale ma ogni volta non possiamo che apprezzare la pizza che assaggiamo (interessantissimo il giro pizza, con pizze buone ed alternative proposte da Mirco), dopo lâinizio con la solita focaccia al lardoâ¦.Manuela e Mirco hanno saputo creare un ambiente familiare, semplice, pulito e curato; carino sia in inverno (con caminetto interno) che in estate con possibilità di cenare nel prato vicino alla piscina.Lâimpasto della pizza creato da Mirco è gustoso, ma leggero e digeribile; buono il numero di pizze da scegliere (recentemente implementato), ma con alcune proposte/abbinamenti interessanti. Assolutamente buoni i dolci fatti in casa. Credo che in zona sia uno dei locali con il miglior rapporto qualità /prezzo e con un servizio ottimo. Molto adatto anche a famiglie con bambini, soprattutto in estate. PROVATELO!

What a great find in Cherasco! We are well travelled pizza people... every well regarded place around the world include Naples. Ghilot ranks with the best. The actual restaurant is one of two, an osteria and a pizzeria... make sure to reserve at the correct one. The site is really nice on a side street in historic Cherasco. As the name suggests, itâs built around a garden. Very nice.Itâs a big room with beefed tall ceilings, a lot of tables, and a TV projected on a high wall. The pizzareia features quite a few starters, a broad array of pizzas, and some main local dishes as well. The pizza was outstanding... puffy crust with a heavy char. Somewhat similar to Naples style, except a bit thicker base. The crust is sourdough and well fermented. The búfalo mozzarella marguerite was stunning: tangy cheese, sweet tomato sauce, slightly sour crust, and a fabulous chewy and crunch texture. The pizza featuring local cheese, sausage from up the road in Bra, and bitter greens (friarielli) was outstanding. Decent selection of local well priced wines, very big selection of micro-brewery beers, serious stuff from around Italy and Europe. Prices were fair and service friendly.We love pizza, this place ranks very high. Itâs worth a detour if not otherwise visiting Cherasco.

We had probably eaten at least 10 pizzas in restaurants all over Italy in the past 3 weeks and then, totally by accident (the place we were planning to visit was closed) we found this place. I seriously believe it was the best pizza I have eaten. And very well priced. The young waiter and the husband and wife owners were so lovely. They told us that their pizza chef was an undiscovered genius. Absolutely agreed. Very informal and perfect for a lunch (Bottle of local Nebbilio only 13 euros)....a few locals wandered in and were rubbing their hands as their beer and pizzas arrived in perfect time....a must visit!!! Pizza was huge too!!
