The restaurant has overall a good atmosphere but food was a bit disappointing. Linguine alle vongole had some sand and portions were very small (maybe 60gr of pasta, not more). Also the grigliata and the fried fish were nothing special. Price was overall ok but quality a bit disappointing

A friend of us recommended this place and she was absolutely right. The pizza was extremely tasty, the crust delicious and the personal really nice. The ambience is kind of familiar and you feel welcome since the very first minute. We had an excellent experience and if we are back to Catanzaro, we will have a pizza for sure there. Moreover, they are really really cheap!! two pizzas and two drinks just for 16 Euros!!

My friends and I went to Chapo last night, and we had the best pizza in Catanzaro. Great service, great staff, delicious food, highly recommend this place. The big boss is the friendliest man in the area . The cinque formaggio pizza and the pulled pork burger were the highlight of evening. Thank you guys!

Where does one even begin? I have visited Old Cottage about 4-5 times over the past year and each time I miss it more. I visit Catanzaro frequently as I travel abroad and no visit is ever complete unless I dine at Old Cottage. The ambiance is warm, the food and its flavors are top of the line, the hospitality and service are familiar and attentive, and best of all its for an unbeatable price. Calabria is known for its gastronomy and Old Cottage really takes you into their home to taste their flavors. Whether you are going for an aperitivo, dinner, their menu has something to satisfy your needs leaving your taste-buds dancing! This restaurant is worth the visit! I recommend their Arancini - cooked perfectly and pack a punch alla 'nduja and their Dal Camino Pizza, their Patatine accompanied with BBQ sauce will also leave you wanting a second portion! Make sure to cap your meal their sweet Liquore al Bergamotto. Thank you Old Cottage and see you soon - grazie sempre per vostro servizio e cibo! <3

My wife and I stayed in Catanzaro Lido for a week this past May, and ate at La Tana Public House one night. At first, the music was louder than we liked and we were about to leave. The waiter offered to turn down and we stayed. We had a nice, enjoyable meal. Not the usual Italian food that we love, but a nice break.

My wife and I ate there several times, both for lunch and for dinner. They have pasta available for lunch, but, alas, not for dinner. The place is busy at dinnertime. The service is friendly and prompt. Good place for something simple, quick and inexpensive.Gentilissimi Sig.ri Iacobusle ricordiamo benissimo le vostre cene a base di Pizza al The Big PIZZA.Siete stati due Clienti eccezionali e noi eravamo ogni volta sempre più allietati dal vostro ritorno.Sono questi piccoli gesti che ci confermano quanto di buono cerchiamo di fare per tutta la nostra pregiata clientela.Le chiedo personalmente scusa se alla sera non si effettua servizio di ristorante e cercheremo appena possibile di colmare questa lacuna.Purtroppo la cucina progettata per essere da supporto alla Pizzeria ed alla Pizza allo stato attuale andrebbe ampliata e ri adattata per produrre anche di sera Primi e Secondi Piatti, come del resto già avviene per il Pranzo.
