To like Slab pizza, you have to like Sicilian pizza because it's very doughy. However, they also have thin-crust pizza, which I unfortunately realized after I ordered. I got the cheese and tomato 1-lb 'slab', and it was good -- nice flavor, crust, and sauce -- but too doughy for me, which is personal taste and no reflection on Slab. Next time I'll get the thin-crust. Nice atmosphere, good service, a few tempting craft cocktails and a great selection of Maine craft drafts. The 70's soul/R&B music that was playing was a nice 'blast from the past' -- don't hear much of that these days.

We visited while in Cape Elizabeth and we were pretty disappointed. The staff didn't know about the specials we wanted to order that were posted on their board. We sat and it seemed like they had no clue who ordered what in the restaurant as they kept asking us did we order this etc. As for the pizza it wasn't very good. I would say if you are visiting Cape Elizabeth then find another place then this for pizza.

We went on a Tuesday night around 6p. No o e to be found at the hostess station. Only person that was considered a worker was the bartender and she never acknowledged we were there, but she sure was chatting g up the one patron at the bar. We stood, moved around, looked for anyone. No one came around. We turned out and left. Be aware people.

Since 2009 when we opened our first slice shop on Congress Street in downtown Portland, we've been striving to elevate the pizza experience. It starts with the ingredients - high quality, local when possible - and the toppings - creative and comforting. M
This was good pizza. Lots of unusual options may of which are appealing. Not great but good. Hit the spot for us! Parking is tough; service was good. I would try it again in a similar situation but not sure if I would dine in - open and airy and appears to have a decent atmosphere, but unsure about the dining in experience.

This is Portland's "place to go" for all the sorts of ingredients that you may be less likely to find in regular big supermarkets. Charcuterie. Cheeses. Pastas. Sauces. You get the idea. If that's what you are looking for, check out Micucci Grocery. We bought a lot.

Stopped here on our first night into Portland. As expected for a Friday night, it was mobbed and we had an hour plus wait. Got some seats at the bar and befriended another couple which passed the time. Ordered the house salad each and shared the large Casco flatbread which was perfect. Good service and food was delicious. Highly recommend for a casual dinner.

It was cold with wet snow, and we stopped 40 minutes before they were actually opened. Thank goodness they let us sit by the stove to warm up. The clam chowder was almost ready and that is exactly what we wanted for lunch. Some of the best I have had. A bit pricey, but what the hell, it was the PERFECT stop. Great looking restaurant, so if you are headed to Twin Lights, or Crescent Beach, or Dyer Point, stop for good food. They have a wall of beers on tap, but remember...you are driving.
