We went there for dinner on a Sunday night and were surprised to be the only guests. When we left, we knew why there had been no one else. The pasta portions are very small, even our 4-year old finished her entire plate and asked for a second one, they forgot the bread (for which we paid 6,-Euro), and the desserts are overpriced. The quality was ok but not better than in many other places, and in the end we paid double as much as everywhere else in the Sabina. That was our first and last visit.

We visited the restaurant during our holiday in Italy - we were 15 and the staff catered for us really well. Have to say leave room for the antipasti - absolutely LOVELY! Great local wines. Great place - recommended.Dear Carolina,Thank indeed for your warm words; I appreciated too much your positive staying with us and I will hope you return back again to Otricoli and with us; it's vital for our future. All the best wishes,Carlo

Welcoming and service wasn't so friendly than other places during these weeks. Service was quick but when waitress took our order, it was unclear for us what will come... She couldn't answer for all our questions in English and we didn't know Italian so well. Anyway, food was just like we ordered. Pizzas were ok, not so crispy as somewhere else. It was good that they had sharpened knives. And yes, service was 1,50 â¬/person. Nowhere else outside big cities there hasn't been that fee. Food was a little bit more expensive.
La storia dei paesi passa tramite il bar e questo è storico. Trascorrevo tutte le vacanze estive seduto davanti a questo esercizio pubblico ma non sulle sedia ma davanti, dove una volta câera il mitico muretto !

I have been coming here several times a year for the past 10 years. It has always been a simple but reliable place for pizza/pasta or just a drink, but over the past few years, it has upped it's game considerably. It now has a much broader menu, a more extensive wine list (couple of nice Puglia options around the 13⬠mark) and while the pizza has always been good, the standard of the second piatti has improved noticably too. One grip I'd always had was the price of the draught lager, which semed expensive in general, and also had the annoying Italian trait of charging disproportionatly more for a small glass than a large one - almost forcing you to get a 400ml glass when you actually only wanted 200m. However, on my most recent visit (28th August 2015), I was delighted to be presented with not one, but two new beer menus !! The first one is a new range of German (bavarian) kloster beers, comprising hell lager, weiss, dunkel and doppelbock. I had actually tried all of these in another near (ish) bar at Magliano Sabina, I guess the importers are pushing the brand in the region? Anyway, they are all delicious, and priced at â¬3.5 for a 500ml bottle they are great value for a premium product. The other beer menu was for a range of craft beers from Assisi. No prices, but a very luxury looking menu with glossy photos, detailed info (in both italian and English) and a good range - IPA, porter, stout, amber ale, blond beer etc.I think this illustrates Le delizie's ongoing trend to improve, and 'internationalise' it's offering, and more power to their elbow I say :-)Just to round off, we shared the Le Delizie antipasti plate. This has changed quite a bit from previously - it is now very vegetarian friendly, with four ramekins containing:salad of tomato, basil & grain (barley, I think, or maybe something like bulgar wheat ... anyway, light, fluffy and a bit nutty),beans & olives (plain but tasty)Seafood (crabsticks, octopus, shrimp and squid in vinegrette - crabsticks are not my thing, but these were pretty decent I must say) Russian salad - this was a bit of a letdown, it tasted distinctly 'zingy', I think it was slightly past its best.In addition to these ramekins, it came with a basket of heavenly foccaccia, fresh baked in the pizza oven, and the usual fritti misti and gratined vegetables (unfortunately served with way too much breadcrumbs on top, and with the crumbs still very bread-like, not crisped up .... I scraped most of them off, shame). Anyway, for 7â¬, a great sharing plate.I had pizza to follow - good as ever, excellent thin crispy base, and not overloaded with cheese. The wife had fettucini with porcini mushrooms, and neither of us could finish the generous plates. All in all, Le Delizie delivers very well, and on a warm summer night, dining under the old arches in pretty Otricoli, you could pay much more and eat much less well elsewhere.

We used to live in Calvi and had pizza from here about 4 or 5 times a week. Its pizza by the slice with just about every topping you can imagine. Everytime we come back for a visit I make sure to stop by here. You can eat like a king for pennies. Family owned and you just cant beat the quality or price.

We eat here regularly: excellent, huge, thin crispy pizza with many choices of topping - we don't eat pizza anywhere else. They also do take-away. House wine is very drinkable and recommended. Outside terrace for Summer eating, overlooking the valley. At weekends always crowded so you need to book for Fri & Sat dinner. The menu is extensive and pasta, risotto and Antipasti are all good. Service is fast despite it being crowded, the young waiter speaks excellent English and the helpful, smiling service is just great!
