The best Pizza & Beer in Israel. Yes I know, everyone will say they are the best, but this place behind the cowsheds, near the local garage has an atmosphere of it's own. Un-like any other Shabtai, this branch has it's charm. Pitzza is great and there are great beers. Other food is very good as well, but aim for the basics.

This little jewel of a kosher dairy restaurant and coffeeshop is nestled in an historic old building and the sweetest garden area in Hadera. Great dairy food, great service and the peace and quiet of a lovely street. I have enjoyed breakfasts and dinners here. Couples, families and groups of guests (including bar/bat mitzvah parties) frequent this place. On Thursday nights make sure to make a reservation. It's worth visiting from anywhere in Israel!

After strolling the port area we decided to eat supper there. The afternoon was still heavy with humidity and exceptionally high temperatures. So we skipped eateries without air-conditioning and settled down here next to a giant fan which was passing as air. The relief was worth the choice. But the service was mediocre, the menu offerings not always available and the food itself lackadaisical: the salad was soaked in dressing and the leaves limp. The pizza was doughy but not chewy. In short, aside from the arrival of ice water with lemon that we had requested, which melted almost immediately and turned lukewarm, this dining experience was quite lacking.
