Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in Bonn. Though probably best known as the capital of West Germany from 1949 to 1990 (and of reunified Germany until 1999), Bonn actually has a history dating back to the 1st century BC. Roman soldiers were stationed here and the largest known Roman fort was built at Bonn. In medieval times, the town gained prominence when the Archbishop of Cologne transferred his seat to Bonn. The city's most famous son is Ludwig van Beethoven, born in 1770 at Bonngasse, where a museum now honors him.

One of the best meals we have had in Bonn. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was brilliant. The portions were quiet big but very tasty. The pizza was crispy and full of flavor and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente with the perfect amount of sauce.

Although the establishment is very cozy and very well decorated I am afraid that the personal serving doesn't matches with the whole ambient. We found the waitress and the guy who served us a little bit rude and not polite, the price doesn't correspond to the food served. Interesting visit but sure not the kind of place that's going to steal your heart. It gets 3 stars just because of the ambience and the decoration

Mr. Sasa is from Naples. You listen to the room and you hear Italian - indeed Southern Italian dialects - being spoken. Your Italian friends recommend it. It's real-deal Neapolitan pizza, from the dough, to the over, to the char, to the ingredients. Not much more to be said.

A bit of Italy in Germany. At the edge of the city center you find this Italian restaurant. It is run by Italians and coincidence or not, also frequently visited by Italians. All signs green. The interior and the service concept are a bit particular but all in all with the Italian radio station over the speakers, you stay in the mood for authentic Italian pizza. The pizzas we tasted were indeed made from fresh dough and well baked; the ingredients used are of good quality. Prices are moderate for what is offered. The disadvantage of this place: once you step out the door, you will be disappointed to be back in reality, in Bonn rather than Napoli. My score: 4 out of 5
