I came to eat here with a group of friends after reading the great reviews on here and was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the brushetta and garlic bread starters were particularly good, and the Spaghetti Bolognese was rich and tasty. The wine was good and so so cheap- . Service was enthusiastic, they really are very friendly and helpful.I will definitely be coming back here. Regularly.

My friend "Señor Tranquillo" lives above this restaurant - he ran it for a while as a beach-bar, then let go of the lease. It's currently run by two Italians who are making the best pizza in Boca Chica. This is pizza Italian-style, and it's as close as I've tasted to the pizzas I had in Rome and its environs. At around 300 pesos for a roughly 30-cm pizza, it's quite reasonable. And since they're running it as a beach bar, it's a great place to hang out in the evening and enjoy a few cold Presidentes while you enjoy the sunset.My friends and I may have gotten a "pizza overdose," but I'll go back the next time I visit Boca Chica, to be sure!

The portions were ample and tasty - unfortunately, the menu didn't describe the varieties of sauces, and I didn't find out till I was served that 'puttanesca' means a meat-free tomato sauce with green olives. Two of us got calzones, and it looked huge until they cut into them and the crust deflated; they were still ample, but the 'deflated' crust was good for a laugh.

Over the years we have visited a few small speciality restaurants in our favourite beach town of Boca Chica in the Dominican Republic. However, on our last visit we found a Italian Gem located on Juan Bautista Vicini # 47. It is located, a bit of a walk, but not really far from the Catholic Church in the town of Boca Chica. On our last visit we had been invited by very close friends to join them for a true Italian Experience. We were pleasantly surprised to say the least. It is located on a corner lot and it is wide open off the street. It makes for a very interesting experience mainly because the Chef Thomas is very knowledgeable and offers many selections that will excite your taste buds. We tried many different selections, too numerous to mention, but the items as offered were tasty and well presented. Overall, we found this to be a very nice restaurant with a super delicious Italian cuisine. The Chef and his assistant were very attentive and took the time to answer all of our questions regarding the menu items. All in all we had a great experience and would highly recommend this small restaurant. So if you have the time, to enjoy this special Italian experience, do give it a try you will be glad that you did.

This is my second review We live about 25 minutes away in Santo Domingo. There is obviously local Dominican pizza, Ole Pizza (which is pretty good for 350.00 pesos, the best cheap pizza ), Dominos and Pizza Hut. I think this spot has the best pizza around. We get the cheese pizza and ask for extra garlic on half and a side of sauce for pizza crust. The crust was perfectly crunchy and flavorful. The sauce was simple but delicious And the cheese complemented the crust and sauce. Highly recommended

Our team from our mission trip went here our last night in the DR to celebrate. We had an area right on the water and we all shared pizza. The pizza was very good. Service for a large group was also good.
