You wouldn't tell by looking, but this place has the best pizza around! But be prepared, this isn't NY Style, Flat Bread, or Deep dish - this is hearty tasting brick oven pizza. We live in Ellijay and tried this place a couple of months ago. Now we're ordering a few times a month. And it's very reasonably priced. I'm glad to see they're always busy. I hope they're around for a long time.

While visiting family and friends in northern GA, we all met up in Ellijay at Charlie's Italian Restaurant and everyone really enjoyed the food and service. I highly recomend this restaurant for groups, couples, families or even singles.

First time to eat here and really enjoyed the pizza. We were amazed at the Italian food choices and salad menu. Good draft beer selection. Service was good. We plan on visiting again as it is worth driving past some of the other pizza places we have frequented.We're so glad you stopped in and are pumped to know you'll be back for more! The Slice combo was not bad with a slice of pizza and a ceasar salad, but could have had a little more toppings on the big slice---the eggplant in the eggplant rigatoni dish was tasteless and cut obviously for the pizza in little non-descript pieces. The iced tea was really good, tho.Prices were good but we probably wont go back.

True Sicilian Italians are running this simple yet authentic Italian kitchen. Being Italian myself and having been born/raised up North, I tend to be very skeptical with Italian eateries in the South, but Chef Rosario's definitely qualifies as a repeat stop whenever passing through the area. Ball Ground itself has cleaned up its historical downtown area and has more than enough charm, restaurants & entertainment to warrant a lazy weekend escape from the Atlanta metro area.

The staff is very helpful. The Stromboli and calzones are amazing ! They are Huge ! I couldnât finish mine took half home. Reasonable priced too!! Take outs are fabulous they always have it ready! Easy to pick up on your way home. Oh and the deserts!! Must try the tiramisu, Delicious!!
