Beverwijk (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌbeːvərˈʋɛi̯k] ( listen)) is a municipality and a town in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The town is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Amsterdam in the Randstad metropolitan area, north of the North Sea Canal very close to the North Sea coast. A railway tunnel and two motorway tunnels cross the canal between Beverwijk and the nearby city of Haarlem on the south bank.

Went here expecting to have a good dining experience, unfortunately the service was disappointing. The waiters were friendly and helpful, however we got the impression they couldn't cope with all the guest they were serving. We ordered some bread which they forgot and brought after our main dish had arrived, then I ordered some wine and they brought us water. Regarding the quality of the food, I wasn't really impressed about it, the meat I ordered was very dry and there was an excess of sauce. Definitively in my opinion this place is not worth the visit.

I have visited the âPizzeria Tarantellaâ restaurant in Wijk aan zee on many occasions and have always enjoyed a good meal served by very friendly personnel. This is a very cosy restaurant and is decorated in typically Italian style.Whether itâs a pizza or pasta, they have all been very tasty, freshly prepared and are not expensive compared to many other restaurants. I can certainly recommend eating here and I will certainly return again.

Bij deze pizzeria zijn we met 14 familieleden gaan dineren, we dachten gewoon een pizza te gaan eten, maar het werd een uitgebreid 6-gangen diner voor een zeer lage prijs. Ondanks de lage prijs waren de gerechten die we kregen voortreffelijk van smaak. De salade was heel lekker en prima vers. De pizza was heel goed van smaak. De bediening was heel gezellig een heeft heel goed bijgedragen aan een fijne avond.

Stopped in for a drink during an extended weekend and liked the atmosphere & friendly service so much we decided that before we left the area we'd stop in for dinner.Basic menu that offers appetizers (like pizza bread & salad), pizzas and burgers. The salad with chicken was bigger than we thought it might be, and the pizza bread was very tasty. Burgers come in different variations and different sizes with a choice of additions (bacon, fried egg, etc.) to choose from. Ordered the 350 gram Bacon Cheesburger with a fried egg and my taste buds were delighted! The meat was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Bacon was crispy and the cheese was thick & melted like it should be. Fresh onions, cucumbers & a fried egg complimented the burger, with more than a handful of big fries made the meal complete. Wish that they weren't so far away; but am glad we'll be in the area again so that I can have another one of the best burgers I've ever had.

De 2 bestelde pizza's (Frutti di mare en garnalen) werden al na een half uur bezorgd en waren goed warm.De smaak viel erg tegen, allebei heel zurig uit potje? en karig (=dun) belegd! Frutti di mare met stukjes surimi en op garnalen pizza maar 1 garnaal per punt!Het vreemde is dat alle pizza's XL worden genoemd, maar ze hebben normale afmetingen.De prijs van bijna alle pizza's is 5 euro (niet duur), maar zelfs voor die prijs waren ze onder de maat!
