Benny's looks like your average small take-out pizza place but the pizzas are better than most anything nearby. Very consistent quality too, we've gotten pizza here many many times and have never received poor quality or bad service. Affordable too.

Trattoria 225 is a full service restaurant and bar featuring rustic Italian dining. We offer wood-fired pizza, fresh salads, house-made pastas and a variety of artisan gelato. We strongly believe in supporting local producers and using organic products wh
We gave eaten here twice and enjoyed our meals, but it can be conversationally challenging. We ordered meals to be delivered in their weekly advertised dinner special. What really surprised me was that despite their chicken breast special being advertised as $16, I questioned the $19 charge. I was told that that must be a misprint and the price was $19, and I thought that stated that should be their problem and not mine, but the guy would not back down. Poor customer service.
Visited Nonna D's for the first time, it opened 4 months ago. Had such a great experience I wanted to write a review only to discover it was not yet on Trip Advisor so I added it. My parents were visiting this weekend and I wanted somewhere nearby to give them a local flavor. This was a perfect choice. The service was attentive (full disclosure we were the only table and then there were bar patrons) - but it was early on Cinco de Mayo so I have the feeling folks were just choosing a different cuisine that night. (= Regardless, we were visited several times by our server, the manager, and the owner to ensure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. The menu was traditional Italian plus brick oven pizza. I had pizza and made my own choice on toppings, so that is always nice as a vegetarian to pick whatever favorite veggies I like. The crust was very good, and I'm picky about crust. When you go to an Italian place, it's typical to get olive oil and bread, but at Nonna D's they bring a nice selection of olives, cheese, roasted red peppers, and artichokes to the table as a starter as well. The tables have white table cloths but it does not feel like a place that is formal at all, but certainly would be a good place to have a nice date as well. Can't wait to go back and sit outdoors on the deck. Do not be discouraged by the small parking lot, street parking is available also. Enjoy this great neighborhood spot.
We have met extended family members here and have always had delicious pizza with the beers. I really enjoyed the Kentucky Common. Light taste, but good substance! We've been to a few small breweries and most do not have any food. It's worth going just for the homemade woodfire pizza. It's been a great find for us!

I've been eating in and ordering delivery from Al's since the 70's! Monday night is half price pizza which makes it even more of a bargain. Calamari is always a favorite. Fried chicken is great. Friendly, courteous delivery people usually bringing food before the promised hour.

This is a large open venue with plentiful seating and table service. Their pizza is tremendous but do be prepared for a wait if they are busy as everything is made fresh and if you go for the traditional deep dish it will take a little longer but its totally worth it! They also have bar seating and their bar tenders know their stuff! All their staff are super friendly and welcoming and the place has great atmosphere overall.

Excellent value! Very different (in a good way!) pizza than most places in and around Chicago. Very good appetizers and pasta dishes, too; baked, not fried. Very enthusiastic service. They have an old-school Ms. PacMan machine too!

Arrived at opening and we were warmly greeted by Roberto. After viewing the menu and given warm bread with olive oil, Roberto answered some menu questions. We ordered and thoroughly enjoyed Gnocchi alla Vodka and Penne Prosciutto e Piselli. Both meals were EXCELLENT and presented well.

This would be great pizza if it were the 1970s, and your other options were Little Caesarâs and Dominos. However, in the 21st Cenrtury, there are so many better options, even among national chains. Visitors to Chicago who feel compelled to try Chicago deep dish will find it here. Just donât confuse it with GOOD pizza. Hi Eric, we are sorry to see you had a disappointing experience with us. We would love to hear from you about this more directly. What could we have done better? Please click the link to fill out the corresponding information. We are looking forward to hearing from you and truly appreciate your patience with us. http://bit.ly/LousCrew Best, Michelle Martinez Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

The place is legendary and proves every time why!I always come in ready to buy a particular item. But my mind usually changes when I see the food displayed! Some fabulous food just calls my name and I have to get it.Just the other day, I came in open minded and the chicken parm and rice balls were calling me. They were awesome continuing the long amazing track record of great food from Freddyâs.Pizza, gelato and everything they make and sell is special. Do yourself a favor and experience Freddyâs!
