We were impressed with the food, service and atmosphere in Gasparro's. So much so that we booked for a second time immediately.The quality of the food was complimented by relaxed and friendly service and a wine list to match. We visited whilst on holiday near Berwick. Fabulous Pizza. Between us we had Margherita, Padana & Meathead and a portion of Dough Balls. The pizzas are restaurant quality, best pizzas we've had from a take away. Can highly recommend.

Nice Location, nice welcome. I ordered Chicken Kiev, which stated on the menu, chicken breast stuffed with garlic and parsley coated in breadcrumbs served with seasonal veg with either chips or salad. What i got was Chicken breast drenched in a pool of garlic sauce. Far too much garlic used and it was very oily. served with a tiny portion of soggy chips in a little wired basket put on the table cloth. No seasonal veg was served at all. No one came near us to ask how the meal is/was. They preferred to attend to babies and kids in high chairs, keeping them amused. During our starter the female waitress walked right over and lit another candle from our already lit candle, with no "excuse me " or anything, Positive Feedback - The chicken was cooked well and was nice and hot, but i had to scrape it away from the runny garlic sauce. I asked to speak with the chef/manager. The guy apopogised and agreed with me that the sauce was very over powering, but went on to say that kiev's are served with a sauce always. If i was ever to come back i should ask for no sauce, he didnt seem to grasp the fact that the menu states chicken kiev and gives a clear description of the dish. No sauce is mentioned. I have never had a kiev served like this to me. A kiev should be made with the garlic butter inside, chicken wrapped round it then crumbed and shallow fried. Served crisp with the correct accompaniments as to which the menu states.

Ordered from here while on holiday at Haven Berwick-upon-Tweed with the family. Ordered online, quick and east online service food ready at time stated. However food quite soggy and curry sauce with lumps and kind of tasteless. Quick and easy to use website food just could of been little better hence the three star review!
